It says app clips and there is nothing there I loaded zoom and gave it permission but still does t work. Every once in a while a hard reset brings it back but not for long alos the Bluetooth works fine 100% very odd software issue. I regret updating the iOS. I found the phone in the drawer and it is in brand new condition.

I had a problem with any app that uses the mic, Phone, Siri, Voice Memos etc, and the video function on the Camera, on my iPhone 7Plus since upgrading to 15.3.1. The only temporary fix I can find is doing a reset and then they work for a few hrs so I know it's software problem but I doubt Apple's gonna come to rescue 😅 Should've stayed on 14.8...Any ideas of how to fix that don't involve buying a new phone?

Wanna ask something well since i updated to ios 15.1 on iphone 7 plus , the microphone worked then it stopped working on messenger calls and memo all i can hear is parasite, but siri works , nrml calls work , video front anr rear camera catch voice but memo app and calls on messenger don’t and i found it so weird , tried hard reset , reset all settings and even restore from settings nothing helps

Hello, I just want to know if mine is in the hardware or software issue. Whenever I am receiving calls, I can’t tap the answer button. Whenever I am playing a RECORDED video, there is no sound. In messenger, I can’t send a voice message because of this problem

My problem is that when I try to test whether if its a hardware related issue or a software related one, I just simply cant. Voice memo won’t let me start the rec, when in a call the phone wont let me put it on speakers and even when recording a video it shows that it has sound but wont let me turn up the volume. Back in Oct I was able to record some voice memo, when restarted the phone i had one chance of using the mic, cuz everytime i started a new memo it was gradually worse than before. So imo its not hardware related but then what should I do?

That’s exactly the issue I had with my iPhone 7 Plus with the mic and also it was messing with my camera as well it wouldn’t take photos

I think mine might be a software problem, because when i followed these steps it worked perfectly fine almost for 3min then it stopped again. The problem is when the mic is not working properly it affects other apps like camera. When i use voice memeos sometime it recordes the audio, sometimes it doesn't respond at all, and sometimes it gets stuck. The camera app also gets affect when the mic is not working, it won't let me take pics or record videos.

my iphone 7+'s camera and mic is not working. the camera doesnt have a blackscreen, but it doesnt let me take a pic. That’s weird. My microphone works on google and everything but overall Siri activates then shuts off immediately, voice memos don’t record, can’t talk or hear anyone on calls, but then it works with AirPods, how can I fix this?

I have tried restarting my phone then after the restart I can now use the voice memo, but then when I leave my phone after a few minutes, the mic problem comes back. I can't record voice memo again. What to do?
