Holly Tree the 6s isn’t even water resistant. That’s all the 7 is. It’s water RESISTANT. Meaning water still can kill it. The 6s did excellent honestly. Who’s gonna drop a phone in a toilet or bathtub for 20 minutes anyways?

Lexcion Plays it depends how much water the phone is under. Here the phone is in a small quantity of water. If you jumped into a swimming pool with a 6s it would give out much quicker as there's lots more water and it will me much deeper under the water making the water get inside the phone faster. It might just be bad luck for you that your phone broke when u dropped it in the toilet but I recommend not taking your phone in the bathroom

My grandpa dropped his phone in the lake at our cottage (iPhone 7) he bought a new one and 2 days later he went back to the cottage and saw something reflective in the water. He realized it was his phone and jumped in immediately. Once he grabbed it he drove home and put it in a bag of rice. To this day his phone that fell in the lake still works and is in perfect condition

It's worked for me I used the same technique my iPhone 6s unfortunately dropped into swimming pool outside the city I just kept my phone in my pocket its rainy even my pocket was wet it's nearly 8 hrs I just plugged it in after 8 hrs no life seen even I seen moisture and water drops @ camera inside the lenses I just went through KZfaq and I just kept my iPhone in rice box finally after 4 hrs I observed it slowly water moisture in camera disappeared and I plugged it to the charger (cable) it got blurred blue color on left side again I removed it and done same procedure finally it worked no blurry screen now safe
