No, matagal ng phased out ang iPhone 8. You can still find and buy pre-owned but wala ng bnew. Even the iPhone X was already phased out. Some stores like Octagon are still selling bnew iPhone XR, but pahirapan maghanap. Authorize store like power mac or beyond the box only sells iPhone 11, 12 and 13 series. Malapit na din magphase out ang 11.

No, future updates will be no longer supported, it will only get updates worth 2-3 yrs only. If you want an iPhone but on a tight budget, try the X series. Pre-owned X series are also good, just make sure that the battery health is at least at 90%. And also, when buying a pre-owned iPhone you can check if the parts are replaced using 3utools. Usually pre-owned iPhone with a 100% battery health have their battery replaced already.

Apple will not support the iPhone 8 with updates in 2023 so you won’t get the newest features
