It works again if I restart my camera but a few days later it doesn't work anymore. Do I really need to restart everytime it doesnt work? What I find to strange is that if my rear camera stops working of the camera app, it still works on snapchat for some reason.

Updating doesnt take storage. And even if it did it takes so little amount of storage you probably wont notice it.
