iPhone/iPad: No Sound for Games? No Problem.

If you do not have any sound for a game but you can hear sound from like music, videos, etc then you simply need to flip the side ringer/silent switch on the side of the phone. This button is called the mute button.

@@dawnhebb if it’s an iPad then go to iPad settings, Sounds, and then to the right there will be Ringtone and Alert Volume. There is a slider for the volume there.

Thank you, this was a lifesaver! I was going round and round with this for hours. I use a lifeproof case, and it is extremely difficult, if not impossible to maneuver that button in the case. But I had forgotten that I dropped my phone earlier and it must’ve hit it in just the wrong way to turn it off. Took the phone out of the case and sure enough the button was down, flipped it up and everything is working great now!
