My computing needs are very basic. So I'm using my Red iPhone SE 2022 for the absolut basics like Texting, Calling, Music and Podcasts and very minimal Social Media usage. Everything else like watching KZfaq or doing longer Web-Searches, is done on my Chromebook. I've done that for almost a year now and it works great for me

Thanks for leaving a comment! I like how intentional you are about how you use technology. I’m probably like you, I don’t need fancy feathers on my phone, as long as it meets my daily needs! Also, I still use only my iPhone 8 and SE 2 to film and edit all my YT videos and the camera qualities are amazing!

iPhone 12 seems like a nice model as well! As long as the latest iOS will be supported for 3-4 more years, I don’t mind getting “older” models either!

Thank you for your nice comment:) Actually, the battery I have right now is not the original Apple one anymore because I had it replaced at an unofficial electronic store last year. I was experiencing worsening battery about two years after I got this phone, so I needed it to be changed. I wasn’t sure about installing an unofficial part on my phone, but my new battery has been doing surprisingly well!

One thing I noticed with your phone is the battery life, it’s pretty impressive! How did you do that? I follow the 20-80 rule but there are times when I find myself charging my phone twice a day. Would love some tips ❤ Thank you!

Thank you for commenting:) I actually had my battery replaced a year ago, so just the battery itself is only a year old whereas my phone is three years old. That’s probably the prime reason it lasts longer. But if I’d share with you something I do to keep my battery longer, my screen is almost always pretty dark and I turn off most of the notifications off so whenever I get one, it doesn’t turn on my phone automatically! Also, it’s probably not fair to say that my battery is good because I didn’t do any intense work with my phone on that day like filming and editing videos😅

I kinda like today’s video style. It’s pretty simple!! And I am pretty surprised that your iPhone SE’s battery can hold up for a whole day!! I see lots of iPhone SE users complaining about the bad battery life because it’s battery is too small…

Thank you for your comment:) Yes, the battery lasted longer than I thought, but it’s probably because I didn’t do any intense work on that day like filming and editing. When I do these, I definitely need to charge at least 2 times a day😂 Also, I had my battery replaced last year, so it’s basically a pretty new battery even the phone itself is 3 years old.

Instead of typing your old journal onto the journal app on your phone can you just take pictures of the pages and attached the pics on the digital journal? This way you can still have the visual of what the pages look like.

I was thinking about that at first, but the problem is that my handwriting in my journals are HORRIBLE 😂 Even I have hard time reading and understanding what’s written haha So I’m gonna take extra effort to enter them manually, which is probably gonna be a life-long project!😂

Aw thank you!! For typing, I watched some videos on KZfaq about fast typing tutorials and what I improved the most was probably how to place each finger on the keyboard. I also used to use my right index finger to hit the space bar, but I realized it was very inefficient so I always use my right thumb to hit that now. And I also try my best to keep my wrists stable (like minimum movement)! Hope they’re helpful!

Oh I definitely prefer my laptop keyboard for sure! The keyboard for my iPad was actually smaller than I expected and it’s hard to get high wpm with that keyboard lol

Hi! I agree French is hard but I just love how it sounds! Well, I’m a super beginner, so I may not be the right person to ask about how to study, but what I do everyday is jotting down what I did each day in short sentences in French, looking up pronunciations, and recording myself reading out loud. I also watch KZfaq channels like “Français avec Nell” and “The perfect French with Dylane” with French subtitles!

Personally, I like the 90’s British music a lot so I usually listen to Oasis, Blur, Suede, etc! My favorites are “Sunday Morning Call (Oasis),” “Songbird (Oasis)” “Country House (Blur),” and “Trash (Suede).” These might not be your kind of music, but they are my personal favorites!

I know it sounds strange, but maybe you could do an accesorising video of your iPhone 4, like case, screenprotector etc. Maybe you could also jailbreak and install some tweaks for modernising it?

I can’t promise 100% if I can make that kind of video, but your ideas sound very interesting! Because my iPhone 4 is so old and won’t even last 5 minutes without constantly changing, so it might be a problem, but I’ll consider!

Maybe you could get the battery replaced, you Gould get one for pretty cheap from a local store, i know it sounds like a lot, but since you put a lot of effort into your vids, so here are the things that you could do, battery replacement, back panel replacement, case, screen protector, and latest software update as well as jailbreak with some tweaks, also please tell me the software version of your iPhone 4 so I can recommend you some good tweaks, be careful while jail breaking, you could accidentally brick your device, hope you take my ideas into consideration!

Thanks for suggesting that option! I didn’t even think about that. I know a good electronic store nearby that probably would fix my iPhone 4! If that works, I’ll definitely make a video about it. But I’m not sure what iOS is running on that phone:(

Thanks for commenting! Unfortunately, there’s no way to know it anymore because I had my battery replaced last year at an electronic store (not Apple), so my phone doesn’t recognize any non-Apple parts:( But if I have to guess, it’s probably in the 90’s or something? because it’s been only a year!

I had my battery replaced at an unofficial electronic store a year ago, so there’s no way to know my current battery health because it’s not an Apple’s official part, unfortunately :( But I believe it was at like 82% before it was replaced last year! That’s great that you’re still using a 4-year-old phone! I bet your battery drains pretty fast😭

As far as the battery life goes, I think my iPhone 8 is better than this one because my 8’s battery health is still 88% after five years (no battery replacement)!
