Got a new red SE phone when I joined MintMobile. Went from a droid. Got a bulky case (I needed one for dexterity & safety) and screen protector before I activated it. Great tutorial! I will look at your others to answer questions I have. Thank you!

Just went from a 6 to this. Phone feels the same (size, weight) but everything else is so much better. A thing I just happened to find that I thought was really cool was the double and triple tapping the back of the phone to do a variety of things. For example mine is now set up to take a screenshot when I tap the phone twice. So much easier than the usual way!

I'd be *so* tempted to get one of these. I miss my 6s, which I sold last year. However, one of the reasons I never went any further with Apple was the removal of the mechanical Home Button. I wouldn't mind the one they use on the 7/8 and now SE, if there were an option to turn the damn thing off. I could never, having tried those of friends, get used to that "jolt," which is supposed to "mimic" the mechanical buttons. It doesn't.

Screen protectors are a pain so I always get a wallet or folio style phone case. Slightly more bulky but it does a great job protecting the screen if you drop the phone and the leather ones look fantastic. I don’t use them to store cards; I just like the look.

Hi Brandon. Thanks for your tips. They were really useful. I have a question: I got the iPhone SE 2020 two weeks ago, and coming from an iPhone 7, for me this was a quite nice upgrade overall. However, for the there was a major downside: the 3D touch is gone and although some models have a software fixes compensating this absence (by long pressing on the screen), the iPhone SE 2020 doesn't. The lack of the 3D touch bothers me specially when I try to quick reply to a message on the lock screen. The only option is to swipe the message left and choose the option SEE. The other useful feature of 3D touch for me is when I was typing a long message and I wanted to move the cursor like a mouse to a desired spot on the text by 3D touching the keyboard, this would turn the keyboard into a sort of trackpad that would allow me to hover around with the cursor to the desired part of the text I was typing. Does anyone know if Apple is planning to fix this in the near future? Some people say it's intentional, but it looks to me like a bug that could be easily be fixedwith a software update.

@@kamraman6487 Well, they seem to have fixed it somehow: now, by long-pressing on a message on the lock screen I can reply from the lock screen. It might not be 3D Touch, but it does the trick.

@@Ryealitysurf After more than a year of use the phone is working like a charm. It feels as if I unboxed it yesterday. I am really happy about it. For me, the only big downside, is the battery life. I am not a heavy used and still, it runs out pretty quick. The problem has been there from the beginning. There are rumors about a new iPhone SE, coming out in two or three months from now. If they improve the battery life/autonomy, like they did when they upgraded the iPhone 12 MINI into the iPhone 13 MINI, the SE would be the perfect iPhone.

mine came to today I am loving it; felt sad to retire my 1st GEN SE, but I am so far pretty satisfied and enjoying it !!! The speed burst on my cell network is awesome, almost 3 times faster; 128GB, nice to have the space my 1st GEN was only 32GB; front camera taking amazing pictures; been running it steady for 6 hours now and 2 of them using wifi internet tethering to my Macbook Air; battery still at 62% from out of the box charge; setup was awesome and fast, snatched everything from my old SE and I barely had to do anything; overall speeds changes, and enhancements are pretty sweet !!! and the price was excellent !!!!

Thanks for keeping things simple. I always had a samsung and due to supply issues could not get one, so I got a deal on this iphone. There is a learning curve for this senior citizen! I'm sure I'm not even using 1/100th of the things I can do with this thing, but I'm getting there.

I have had both android(Sony, Samsung) and iPhone and the latter is so much easier. It’s very instinctive, like a kid’s toy. You are definitely going to find it easier, even though you will not be using all its features. I always say that older people, with no much experience in technology, should be able to buy iPhones because it’s easier for them.

Currently watching on my iPhone SE 128GB in black. Coming from a 6S, I’m loving this so much. A lot faster, camera is way better and iOS13 is awesome. Currently protected with the Otterbox Symmetry slim case with screen protector. Love the familiarity of this size and the home button is something I enjoy the most. An iPhone without a home button isn’t an iPhone. Steve Jobs’ vision was always rooted in the ease of functionality in the home button.

Fantastic video! KZfaq at it's best! I've taken several of your suggestions and adjusted my new iphone SE accordingly. Gotta say, however, that I remain leery of "wallet" and apple pay believing that any app that makes it easier to pay makes it easier to be parted from one's hard earned money.

"Iphone SE entry" "Done" Color: Any Why: The phone that i'm using right now is my grandma's phone, my grandpa gave her phone to me because no one was using it after she died back in 2017. When i first got it, little did i know that the phone he gave me is my grandma's. Until i open up Whatsapp, SMS, and Gallery, there is alot of conversation of her when she was still alive. I was surprised and in tears while reading it, the reason why i want the Iphone SE so bad is because the phone storage is full and its started to slow down, it even lags while watching youtube.

I just ordered an iPhone SE 128gb Black due in 1-2 weeks. Also picked up a magic Keyboard for my iPad Pro 12.9” which is due in 3-4 weeks. Can’t wait to get them

Brandon, I’m totally new to iPhones. It was suggested to me that when I purchased my phone, I should ask the sales rep to set up my phone to auto upload to the cloud, whatever that means. Needless to say, the Apple Store wasn’t doing any phone setups, so I have no clue what an auto upload to the cloud means, let alone what it does. Could you do a video of what that means, what it is for, and how to do it?

i accidentally just called emergency services because i was trying out the SOS thing and instead of giving a countdown it just started calling them. hope they don’t come to my house💀
