Probably heat and the fact the battery was almost drained so it dimmed because the cpu and gpu were being strained.

I’ve seen all these battery drain tests, it really depends on the user. For some people the Se will last you all day, for some 3 hours.

This was a great video nick! Next time you do one of these battery testing videos I would recommend putting the percentages after each round underneath each phone so it is easier to see and so that everyone can see them all at the same time.

These results are very odd I’ve never seen an iPhone XR die in under 5 hours!!! I’d recommend setting all of them to 50% brightness next time for a more realistic scenario, I’m guessing the 600+ nits is what really killed them!

@@saitama2508 I just checked, it takes 1h28mins for the iphone 11 pro. The se also supports fast charging with 18w. The battery of the se is about 60% of the 11 pro. I would guess it would take 1h at best for the se to charge. Thats with an 18w charger, not the 5w which is a total joke and legit apple spitting on the apple sheeps face lol

I am still disappointed in the SE. If you watch Arun's video it goes to only 3 Hours on continuous usage, which Ik not many ppl will be doing anyways , they could of added a larger battery which is possible in the same footprint like the huge gap from the XS to the 11 Pro

Brightness is a huge factor it seems. If you even just left the brightness at 50% all these phones would last anywhere from 1-3 hours longer depending on the device. Brandon butch, another youtuber achieved 7:42 on the iPhone 11 and just over 6 hours on the SE

I love the iPhone SE for its form factor and new processor, but I would not recommend you buy it as your main device for media consumption, gaming and more power intensive usage. I have an iPad mini for that. I use my iPhone for just music (with airpods), texting, calling and picture taking. Just get the Xr or 11 if you wanna combine all in one device. 🙂

Low Power Mode does absolutely nothing. It just disables background app refreshes.

If your wondering I own an Mi 8, it has 1 year and 9-10 months and it's lagging af, while my friend's iPhone 6S workin perfectly fine even after 4 years, I totally changed my opinion about Android devices, at least you pay 800$ and you know you won't have a problem 4-5 years with that phone, the only thing which will get worse is the battery life, but if you take care and change it there are no problems...

I have the iPhone SE 2020 and i have recognised a much better better battery life from, my old iPhone 7. I use the phone even more than i did with the iPhone 7. Now the results can be different from time to time.

Um did anybody notice that AT ON POINT IPHONE 7 AND 8 WERE NOT ON FULL BRIGHTNESS BUT NEARLY ALL THE WAY DOWN WHEN THE GUY DONE CAMERA TEST IPHONE SE CAN EASILY BEAT 7 AND 8 IN BATTERY CHARGE AS SHOWN FROM TONS OF OTHER TESTS

The Future I bought an iPhone 11 three months ago, 98% battery health and i don’t know how im supossed to set things up so it doesnt drain battery like crazy, i have wifi and cellular data on, brightness at 80-95% , the iPhone drains 1% every 3 minutes aprox, i end up having a battery life of 4-5 hours, i use KZfaq,Facebook,Instagram, whatsapp, and streaming apps but im not a heavy user, do you think this is normal? Thanks in advance

When we buy a new iphone it gives very less battery life but later on using it 3-7 months we have the best battery life and this is peak performance iphone optimises

Daniel 7 I’m pretty sure the iPhone 11 will get more than 5 hours if you put low power mode and low to mid brightness and don’t use too heavy apps

They were all on max brightness. Check from 00:43 on the video. It's just because of the angle of the camera that some screens seem different.

Iphones take weeks to optimised a particular user phone based on his/her usage pattern. as the iPhone 8 is new its not yet optimised much. use for couple of weeks and do the test again. lets see if it make any difference.

The battery on the 7 must have been a bit degraded, the 8 held up pretty nicely against the SE. The big boys had no competition. But overall SE should've had a bigger battery.

I can use my SE 2020 for upto 11 hrs before it hits 20% and that last 20% last for hours I tested it yesterday using my s10 to time it my SE last 13.5 hrs before it died
