Thanks for doing this comparison. Was looking to get iPhone 8 for my mom and for myself as a secondary work phone since im currently using the SE 2016 and performance on it now it is kind of bad, sluggish, mainly on MS Teams. iPhone 8 would do the job just fine but SE 2020 is more future proof.

It doesn’t make sense to get either the iPhone 7 or 8 in 2022,since SE 2 in the used market is much better deal,with a great chipset and updates for the next couple of years at least.

Battery is bad in both and power doesn't matter when you are the guy who takes this device, plus there is 3d touch

@@yosha313 I agree about the battery, but the fact that the SE is gonna receive software updates for years still matters.

It makes a lot of sense actually, considering a lot of people like the 8 plus's design and apple hasn't given another similar plus option it's the next best big thing. As long as it continues to run and does it's job people will continue to enjoy it. It's a pretty good phone.

I have the iPhone se 2020 been using it for two years the battery health is at 82% and it’s still pretty fast

Batterie doesn’t make your phone faster or slower, I had an iPhone 7 on 76% and it was still as fast as new

@@yoko2956 yes it does you can even search it up you can’t remember how fast was for 2 and a half years or 3 depending on your battery life, as long as it’s above 80% there’s not gonna be any performance difference, if it is under 80% then you can experience bugs and overheating and it will start throttling.

I'm a grade 10 student and I got my first phone this year. Obviously it's android, a Samsung because of my parent's budget. It's a Samsung Galaxy A22 5G. And to be honest, I hate android from the time I discovered phones 😅. I always loved iPhone and Huawei and how they made their phone experience so exciting, interesting and Premium! So my question was that I wanted to start off as a beginner in the Apple Ecosystem 🍎. My budget is between $200 - $250. So I was wondering if the SE 2 will be a good start as an IPhone beginner?

I bought my 8 awhile back and I'm wondering Should I switch to a 2020 SE? I've seen some good deals on em $120-$200 which is really good so I'm wondering if I should switch my iphone 8 has a 89% BH and it can last me 3-4 Hours on one charge but I'd like an iPhone within that $150-$250 price range that can last me all day on one charge 5-6 hours like maybe the iphone X, Xr, Or even 8 Plus

I have the iPhone SE 2020 mine works good got mine on iOS 16 beta 3 still on my iPhone 8 on iOS 16 beta 3 but that’s slow but that’s due to the lack of ram the phone has on it

i currenty have an iphone 8 and today its completely stopped working not charging cant do anything so my dads got me an iphone se 2020 coming in next couple days as its fairly cheap so i thank you for the review so i can see and yes there was a white/silver iphone 8 as thats what i had

@@bigdrako5006 yes it’s better (I ended up getting the 2022 (mistake on our end)) and the performance and camera is much better
