Just took delivery of my new SE. Battery lasts a day with a decent amount of use. The screen is the right size for my normal sized hands without the need for one of those sticky attachments on the back, the processor will get updates for years, the camera is as good as pretty much any standard camera out there... I'm a happy man.

I used to own a Samsung and now I have the SE iPhone and my iPhone is still great for me! I love it better cuz it works a lot faster and more clarity for my music videos I do! I prefer the iPhone SE 2020 for myself!

This is a no brainier I would pick the A71 all day of the week, if I had to choose between these two. It might not have the best performance but that doesn't matter to me since I don't really game on my phone. It has the important stuff better battery life, better screen, more storage for photos, and it's just a better value still.

Samsung A71 should get an award for the most positively reviewed Samsung phone of the year tbh. I get the feeling samsung might soon discontinue the phone as its exposing the excessive pricing vs value ratio of their flagship brand and killing sales of some other products as well.

The samsung galaxy A71 goes for about 280€ in my country (Greece) and the the iPhone se 32 gb is 560€. And if you are going to spend so much money on a phone that looks like the iphone 5 THERE ARE MANY CHOICES OUT THERE! If you like compact phones go for the Samsung Galaxy s10e Or for the s10 lite There are many choices out there just do a good search to find a your phone

Samsung’s budget phones: plastic, glass, cheap feeling Apples budget phone: premium feel. The internals of a flagship phone into a budget phone.

The only reason to get iPhone SE is video recording ! It has more powerful processor but you can't play games & render video on such tiny low res screen. For still images, both are toe to toe in daylight. A71 beats SE in nightmode stills. A71 is clearly a superior device apart from processor in every aspect.

About the fingerprint sensors: Optical ones work with sweaty hands, but the physical ones on the iPhones don't. I had the iPhone 7+ and it almost never worked during the summer.

Thank you so much! I was going to get the A71 or A51, but they aren't water resistant. I considered the I-phone SE as a way to cheaply test out I-phones, the only major smartphone I have ever owned is a Samung Galaxy S8, but think going from the S8's beautiful and innovative screen to that little old SE picture would be too big of a downgrade for me. Now, I'll probably get the Galaxy 10 and may research those Sony phones before Black Friday. This was a well done video, and I will definitely subscribe to your channel!

There's no such thing as a budget Android phone, when you can't afford a flagship Android phone you buy last year or year before flagship. Samsung S9+ can be bought for $300 blows this A71 away. For $450 you can buy a Samsung S10 which easily blows A71 away.

Do Android fans think that Apple fans are stupid for buying iPhones? We buy iPhones for longevity and iOS. But yes I’ll agree that Samsung did a way better job at this compared to Apple. This is definitely better. iPhones are good at the £700-£1000 range.

I use a similar Android phone (Snapdragon 665) SIMless as a gaming/emulation device, and it's great for that, but I love my 2020 iPhone SE as my daily driver right now.

I don't really get the iPhone SE 2 hate. Have been an android guy pretty much the whole time but the SE looks awesome. Yes, the battery life is only about 5-6 hours screen on time which isn't great compared to other phones but for non-core users if it gets them through the day it's still sufficient. The processer on the other hand is exactly the same as in the iPhone 11 Pro Max which is pretty much the fastest phone right now. So it's much better than in the A71 and will age a lot better. Speaking of aging, if someone wants to keep their phone longer than 2 years, then the SE is also the better choice. 5 major OS updates vs 2. If Samsung is generous, the A71 will get security updates fo another year, if not the A71 is obsolete after 2 years already. Which is fine, if you don't plan on keeping the phone for longer than 2 years, but if you do, the A71 is not really a choice. The SE will last at least 5 years and also age better because of the much stronger processor, so in that regard it's definitely better. Also, the camera on the SE while being the same as the iPhone 8's, has been improved on the software side. The pictures you take are pretty much on par with the iPhone 11 Pro under good lighting conditions. In low light they are pretty bad, but that is relevant maybe what, 5% of the time. So if you don't take low light pictures, the camera is up there with the flagships. So all in all, if someone is a moderate user who doesn't care about low light pictures, which are relevant maybe 5% of the time, then the SE 2 is actually a nice choice. It's much faster, will age much better, gets updates and security fixes for more than twice the time, takes better pictures in good light, takes much better videos and it will last for around 5 years. By the time you get rid of it, you would be half way through the life time of the second next middle class android phone which would probably still be slower. So, I don't really get the hate. You have to make compromises but if you fall in that group, then the SE is monetary wise the smarter choice. If you use your phone a lot and only keep it 2 years anyway, then Android is the better choice. All have pros and cons.
