I'm a bit of a skeptic. I was looking for solutions because my phone has been stuck on the red battery screen for two days. I had cleaned out the charging port and made sure the cable and outlet adapter were working...nothing worked. I was just about to go buy a new battery when I came across this video. I figured, why not, it's only two minutes and it's not costing anything. IT WORKED!!!!! Thank you so much for the information. One word of caution...the hair dryer I used was 1875 watts, so it took much less time to warm up. I actually got a warning once it booted up that informed me that the phone needed to cool down before it could be used. So check the screen while your warming it up. Thanks again...brilliant.

I have no idea how long my iPhone 4s had been showing a red line battery charge screen as it is a phone I have for storage purposes, but I used my hairdryer on the hottest setting for about 1 minute until the back of the phone was hot to touch, walked down the hall to the charger, plugged it in and "PRESTO" it is up at full charge. @@alejandravbi1545 My battery is so old that I keep the phone tethered to the charger since I only use it to store data that I SHOULD move, but it is still working fine. I have not had to warm it up since. If I am plan to keep the phone up and running, I need to invest in a new battery.

I tried dis method well over 5 times I was losing hope but it turned back on thnx uh saved my iphone 6s plus!! Would leaving it on the dash of a car in direct sunlight in 101 degree Texas work? Or does need to be ONLY the back of the phone? I can't enable my new phone until I run a new backup off the old phone which has a cracked screen and has been shutting off on it's own.

I GAVE UP THEN FOUND THIS VIDEO!! I have been trying to get my phone to charge past the red battery for over a year. * I think the consistant pressing of the home screen button after the battery icon would go away worked. It took less then 5 min to work on my iphone. First time I saw that solution. Have already tried the blow dryer and etc. Thank you

If you don’t have a blower to heat your phone, just rubbed it in a smooth blanket like 1 to 2 mins, then connect it again to your charger and wait for at least 15 mins. It’s my own experience and I just want to share with y’all.

5 minutes into watching the video my iphone 4 turned on while showing only the battery with the red line. I didn’t do anything but bought an insignia cable prior to using it. I thought it wasn’t working so I searched it up on youtube and yes, in about 5 minutes it turned back on before finishing the video or doing anything special to my phone. Haven’t turned it on in about 5 years or so. Thought this might help just in case.

Nah gini aja yg belum berhasil gini aja gw jg habis ngalamin tadi pagi pertama . - panasin air tapi jangan terlalu panas habis itu taruh di kresek/ plastik & iket - taruh hp di atas kresek yg isinya air anget tadi tunggu 2 menit an sambil di cas ya - habis 2 menit coba cabut cas nya terus teken tombol power smpe nyala ke logo apple - pas nyala ke logo apple langsung cas lagi nanti insyallah bisa langsung ke cas 🙏 . saran ku kalo iphone di bawah 20% tolong banget jangan di pake ,di cas aja , juga jangan smpe 100 persen ngecas nya takut nya bocor nanti baterai nya . Maaf kalo di iphone kalian tidak bisa , saya cuma berbagi pengalaman soalnya di cas tadi di cas semaleman g bisa dan akhirnya saya coba cari tadi yg saya ajarkan lamgsung bisa ip saya 🙏 btw ini aku pake ip 5s ( sory i cant translate to english , u can copy my text to google translate )
