Only 400 subs, you deserve more. Nice work, made it look easy. Two questions; 1/ how long was this repair as the video was sped up. Also what temperature and flow did you set your heating tool to? Also I assume it was a glass with the wider hole for the camera. Where can we get these from. I'm in Australia.

This is a fake video. I do this for a living and Apples glue is MUCH stronger and cant be removed with heat. You need something like a TBK laser machine.

whats the best adhesive and clamps to use for this. i bought a complete back housing for a repair and i have the broken back housing. i figured i could practice on this and see if i cant remove the glass. do you think this can be achieved with a hair dryer?

U can use contact cement as glue that what Apple uses and as long as you heat the broken glass to point where it’s too hot to touch it’ll come off but this video had its back glass taken off before normally it takes a few hours and takes constant heat and scraping and sometimes your blades snap from the pressure you have to use

I know, right? I mean what kind of idiot would remove a customers battery or board before hitting it with over 600 Fahrenheit in heat when the logic board is full of low melt solder and plastic components. Definitely nothing could go wrong there. I've neeeever worked on a phone that came in after somebody or another repair shop tried to do that. The odds of damage occurring are for sure like zero percent.

Hello! I saw that you pulled some sort of gasket from around the cameras after removing the original glass, I assume it must be for water resistance. Does the replacemet come with a gasket too? Or will the phone not be water resistant anymore after the repair? Thanks!

Hi. The best way is to strip the phone down completely, heat to 250-300 deg then push the glass out from where the wireless charge pad sits, its best to use the machines to do this as it keeps heat on it but it is possible with a heat gun. make sure all glass is removed or the replacement wont sit right.

If you buy the large hole camera glass you won’t need the camera ring. Don’t know exactly but the one that came off while removing the glass in this video I believe is just some plastic thing that was underneath the camera ring. Maybe its not so important

hello i would like to ask some help so recently i tried to replace a screen for a huawei p30 witch success but then i run into a problem when i went to put the backglass back on to glue to the frame of the phone it damaged the lcd of the phone for the second time i am using the clamps that is actually meant to glue lcds like the one you have on your video,is any other way you recommend for me to glue the backglass to the frame less risky to damage the lcd? what about the spring clamps with the orange tip are thoose safe?

This had to have been replaced before I’ve never seen where you can scrape without holding the phone with your other hand cause the pressure you need to apply to get under the heated glass and it’s usually not that clean

u should take of motherboard/battery/front and back kamera if u dont do that i can assure u that u will face problems like telephone autoreboot every 2 mins and another problems please be carefull when removing the back cover...

Its real glass the reason the shine is different is because its new glass and apple uses a different type of glass all tho they use different type of glass to this one he used there still as strong as apples glass

Bro you must save lcd . Coz when u remove glass u not see broken glass pieces make scratch on lcd .
