I walked into a Verizon store at 8am and bought my wife and myself one. Both 256GB with accessories, no over night mess, no delays, no phone stolen in the mail, no deceptions when pre order gets cancelled, no headaches. In and out within 35 minutes with 2 Iphone X lmao.

But they said in that video 90% of the people in that line are re-sellers. I'm guessing it plays out like this for the smart ones. 1)Take a paid day off work 2) wait in line 3) Buy 2 - 3 iPhone X's and immediately list them on ebay 4) Sell them from retail + 500 (There are resellers on ebay right now selling for 1.5 - 1.7k and people are buying them) 5)Capitalize on immensely rich people who want it now but are too lazy to go to a store. 6) 1K - 1.4K Profit + paid work earnings for the day. 7) Laugh at the people sitting at home doing nothing making fun of you.

That's not really a valid comparison. There's no guarantee that your vote would make a difference, which lowers incentive. In contrast, by waiting in line, you're most likely going to get a phone.
