0:14 my favorite moment! The jumping is timed perfectly with the chimes in the song. And it’s such a weird shot too. The people are only visible through a tiny doorway and the rest of the shot is empty space. It seems to add a magical or mysterious element, as if you’re just spotting the people out of the corner of your eye.

I totally agree! The synchronized jumping to the chimes was, as you said, magical. The simulation of liquid color was done beautifully and the song was on point. Great ad!

My Nexus 6 from 2014 has a screen about the same size as the XR with 2.5x the pixels! I can't believe that Apple is running ads touting the worst part of their phone which is criticized in every review. Apple gave the XR a shitty screen resolution so they could upsell customers to a more expensive model.
