@@bhratayudi9577 the Face ID has a code similar to the code of the motherboard. You’re changing the board so, there are two different codes. That’s the reason :) hope being helpful

No it wont work with the old face id module.. one particular motherboard have its own face id module.. so if u buy a new motherboard it will come together with its own face id module. Except if u buy a motherboard without it’s own face id module, the face id won’t work😁

No because face id is paired to one motherboard and if you replace it, it won't work

So someone would need the Taptic, speaker, and front facing camera that is paired with the motherboard in order to keep using face ID? I have one XR with a fried mother board and the other that is shattered front and back. Maybe I can make one good one out of 2???

Thanks for the video, very helpful. I bought a motherboard without Face ID, I installed in my iPhone XR and Face ID is not working as I expected, but the front camera is not working either. Is it normal? Is the front camera paired as well on the motherboard? Please let me know if you have an answer.

yes it will but all of that should be saved in your Apple ID

Hola, me gusto el video , solo tengo una pregunta cambie mi face id de otro iphone que se me rompio y cambie la lógica a un nuevo iphone, el iphone al aque le quite la lógica y reemplace por la mia ya no vibra y anteriormente funcionaba todo bien, sabes algo sobre eso? o porque no vibra ahora el celular?, de ante mano muchas gracias todos tus videos son fácil de entender y me gustaria qu eme pudieras ayudar con ese detalle, saludos desde Mexico!

kopiah uQuff86 Face ID is paired with the motherboard. If you buy a motherboard with Face ID assembly then it will work. If you buy only a motherboard (like I did), you will loose Face ID function, and apparently front camera too.
