A view on current age malayalam film- after 2016 the quality of malayalam cinema deteriorated. Many directors now think that realistic films are only good. But those realistic movies lack craft. And some think that craft is only there in big budget graphics oriented movies. But that's not the case. Just look at the films of Fazil, kamal, sathyan anthikkad n priyadarsan-. Just look at how they used to picturize songs. That's craft. Eg. Manichithrathazhu, niram, manasinakkare, thenmavinkombath, and many more following the list. Among the newage directors, jithu joseph, ranjith sankar, jude anthany, rojin thomas and midhun manuel have some quality and aesthetic beauty in their film making but nowhere near to the people that I have pre-mentioned. Just look at Sitaramam- what a craftful film. Is any malayalam film of today come near that telugu movie? Good movies come only in thriller genre in current age malayalam cinema. From 2019 other than thrillers good malayalam movies are very few. Among the malayalam movies of 2019-23, only 'home' movie has repeat value

ഒട്ടേറെ സമാനതകൾ തുല്യം പേറുന്ന രണ്ട് പേരും വിറ്റ് കാശാക്കിയ സിനിമകളിൽ ഒരേ ചിന്തകൾ വന്നത് യാദൃശ്ചികമാണോ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ സ്വാഭാവികമായും സംഭവിച്ചത് ആണോ എന്ന് അറിയില്ല. എന്തായാലും രണ്ടു പേർക്കും അവരുടെ പുതിയ സിനിമകളെ കുറിച്ച് കാര്യമായി ഒന്നും പറയാൻ കാണില്ല എന്നാൽ പഴയ സിനിമകളെ കുറിച്ച് ഒരുപാട് കാര്യങ്ങൾ പറയാനുണ്ട് താനും. അപ്പോൾ പുതിയ വീഞ്ഞ് ആണെങ്കിൽ പോലും പഴയ ശക്തിയില്ല എന്ന് എടുത്ത് പറയേണ്ടി വരും

അതിൽ ഒരാൾ ശരിക്കും ✅ മറ്റേയാൾ വെറും കോപികേറ്റ് ആണ്. സ്വന്തമെന്ന് പറയാൻ ഒരു സിനിമയുമില്ല. എല്ലാം അന്യഭാഷാ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ കോപി ചെയ്തത്. ആളും സ്ഥലവും സന്ദർഭവും മാത്രമേ മാറ്റമുള്ളൂ.
