As a Japanese who speak English not very well, I could understand everything the new translator said and it sounded correct translation. But now that I look back Ippei’s translation was way too casual and be summarized and it didn’t show Shohei’s personality. That would be one of the reasons a lot of Americans doubted Shohei, cuz we can see his innocent and faithful personality by his talking way when he speaks Japanese. I don’t think he needs to change his everyday routine for baseball to learn English, so I wish his wife Mamiko learn English to help him now.

In Japan, It's quite common that a wife manages her husband's money and bank account (so it's rather like family account). Ippei is not Shohei's wife ofcourse, but Shohei had been trusting Ippei as much as a wife... That's not normal to trust just a COLLEAGUE so much, even in Japan. However, we know that Ootani is true baseball freak...😂 He's unusual baseball freak since he was a child. That's why this fraud happened, I think.

As a Japanese person, I thought his gambling problem was typical of Japanese people. There are many places in Japan where you can legally gamble. And there are places where it's illegal. Many Japanese people have problems with gambling addiction. Some people with severe symptoms of gambling addiction end up in psychiatric hospitals. Gambling addiction cannot be solved by the individual's will alone. I think it is important to seek support from those around you and consult with experts.

That's another silly generalization. Gambling addiction is a problem everywhere. In Asia, the largest casinos are run in China, Singapore, South Korea, etc., and Japan is behind the gambling with large bets.

Fall guy Shohei absolutely has accounts, financial advisors who would notice that much money . As well as financial institutions alarming bells .

Shohei can't understand English do you even understand that his everything goes through Ippei, he probably told Shohei everything is fine and told everyone else Shohei approved of it so they won't alarm Shohei. This is so stupid on a molecular level that a simple understanding that Shohei can't speak English can't go through your mushy brains

This is ONE of his many accounts which was opened in spring training in his first year arriving in US 2018, to register for salary account with the Angels. Since opening, Shohei never used the account nor withdrew money from it as he subsequently was made several other accounts with assistance of the Agency, that he was using actively. Basically, this first account was just accumulating salary deposits monthly from the Angels, bonuses and few off field work, but was basically “dormant” for Shohei as an active account. So not having notifications also dosent seem strange as he simply just had that account parked there

Is Shohei Otani's former interpreter Ippei Mizuhara a Korean resident in Japan?Did he drive a Korean car at first? Most of Japan's anti-social criminal organizations, or yakuza, are Koreans living in Japan.Japanese people almost never drive Korean-made cars.Ippei Mizuhara's career is full of lies. The backgrounds of Koreans living in Japan who use Japanese names and pretend to be Japanese are also full of lies. Was he sent to destroy Shohei Otani and become a parasite?Did Ippei Mizuhara repeatedly borrow money even though he was aware that he was weak at gambling?
