CPEC project has now entered its second phase with significant focus on projects that advance economic growth, employment opportunities, energy and infrastructure cooperation. Both countries have agreed to increase business-to-business exchanges to aid CPEC’s progression, and are keen to drive high-quality advancements in industry, agriculture, and information technology. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited China from June 4-8, leading a delegation of industrialists, investors, and businessmen to upgrade CPEC cooperation.
In this backdrop, Islamabad Policy Research Institute in collaboration with Center for China and Globalization is organising a webinar on “Strengthening Business Engagement under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor” held on June 11, 2024 for eminent scholars from Pakistan and China to share their knowledge and expertise in devising meaningful policy recommendations.
