this helped me to fix my electric skateboard i was having disconection issues i found out that the receptor was not cover by a metal plaque, so the infrared signals from the sun was interfering with the signals that my remote was trying to send to the board , i just hide the receptor under the metal plaque and that fixed the hole issue,

maybe a bit of overkill on your intro but it looks so freaking awesome haha ;P
