I remember seeing you years ago on the late models with the fastest track time every race. Just getting back into iracing after years away and I had zero clue how to set up a car properly. Thanks for the video!

attach is for making any adjustment to the car. You want uncheck box top and bottom make adjustments then reattach = chech the box .it allows all settings to take proper effect without binding things up. Important note - make sure is checked and always apply when you go to practice

How do you typically help lift off oversteer on ovals? I find going from +6 on the LF camber down to +5 helps but im not sure if there is a better way?
@justinkrizenesky Жыл бұрын
If you are only loose during lift off, you are probably simply set up to be too free aggressively, perhaps as much as having too much RR spring, and combining that with driving into the corner much too deep. Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out to me privately with any questions!

Do you the same setup across all 3 different chassis? That is, the short track, intermediate and super speedway chassis...
@justinkrizenesky3 күн бұрын
Basically, but fundamental differences. Short tracks I prefer a lot softer front springs to help the nose roll, superspeedways it's all about keeping the nose sealed and getting the spoiler out of the air, without dragging the ground

I’m trying to setup a truck for Las Vegas. But I’m way to tight entry and middle. It absolutely burns the right front and I have no idea what to do
@justinkrizenesky7 ай бұрын
What kind of setup as you working from? Are you tight from the start, or as the run goes on?
@a9g4227 ай бұрын
@@justinkrizenesky trying to make my own from the fixed setup. I think it’s the tire pressures reacting towards the spring adjustments I made cause I tried a 10 point split and it messed up all the ride heights and such. Do tire pound spilts always have to be 10 pounds?
@justinkrizenesky7 ай бұрын
@@a9g422 I recommend using a base from a 3rd party like Craigs to start with, rather than fixed. Tire pressures don't always have to be a certain split, 10 is just the most common.

I was watching a setup video discussion from 2 years ago and they said all the fastest oval setups were using a right rear coil bind, is this still viable? Just wondering if you possibly knew anything regarding this. Still waiting on that PC
@justinkrizenesky10 күн бұрын
Unsure, I know that absolutely used to be the way to go, but I'm not caught up on most of the tricks, I don't often build anything from scratch anymore. I more often use what I have previously, or one of my bases.

@@justinkrizenesky what about for trucks and cup? you mostly talked about the xfinity car and i assume the truck is similar but for cup i heard you want a high ride height to get more air onto the rear diffuser for more downforce, is that true or?
@justinkrizenesky7 ай бұрын
@@america7082 The truck is very similar, other than the shock packages available. I am not very familiar with the NextGen, and haven't really raced it or experimented with it very much, but I would assume you want as much air underneath as possible, while still keeping the spoiler out of the wind.
