At last, letting the tourists know they are a proper regiment of soldiers and there to protect our King and Country. They are not a damn petting zoo for them all, so please start showing respect to all our awesome serving soldiers in the UK. God bless them all and keep them safe. 🙏🫶

When not on active service their role is ceremonial and a tourist attraction. I agree with your notion of respect but that's part of their discipline and soft power.

British Jackal or MWMIK (Mobility Weapon-Mounted Installation Kit) vehicle. It's primary role being deep battlespace reconnaissance, rapid assault and fire support, where mobility, endurance and manoeuvrability are important. 431 Jackals are in service with the British Army. An undisclosed number also in service with the RAF and Royal Marines. Used mainly by three light cavalry regiments of the British Army. The Jackal is capable of maintaining off-road speeds of up to 49 mph (79 km/h) and can reach a top speed of 80 mph (130 km/h).

Masses of foreigners rushing to be photoed with Btitish Soldiers but mistreated them when they ere bringing BENEFITS to their countries. It shows the BRITISH ARE POPULAR AND ALWAY WERE
@ABC1701A3 күн бұрын
Unfortunately when involved elsewhere they are usually with other militaries and while the locals always speak well of the BRITISH military (who take the time to learn the language/customs basics and treat the locals as normal, proper, human beings the same can't be said for some others who allegedly - according to many from those countries - treat the locals as the enemy, being beneath them, never bother to learn the basics of local languages and customs and expect the LOCALS to learn English and fit in with THEIR customs instead. It's why the British military are still talked so well of by so many whereas others not so much (I should add the Irish military take the same line as the British army and are also popular when in their role as UN peacekeepers and I've heard from ex Irish military that in some countries the Irish and British military were always popular and could be trusted if someone had issues whereas some other militaries (and even within those militaries there were always SOME who were decent and humane towards the locals) were to be avoided at all costs and considered the locals as expendable and not worth getting to know. Enlightening shall we say.
