In this episode I travel to Bavanat, Iran. Located in Fars province 4 hours from Shiraz, this is a slice of rural paradise, in a valley of walnut trees and farms. In the hills, wandering nomads cling to their lifestyle while comparing the latest viral videos on their cell phones. I take the local bus and hitchhike with the friendly locals to Iran's first eco-resort priced at $30 a night including delicious, organic, and uniquely Persian feasts.
