In cases such as above or other instances of revelations regarding espionage & covert operations (which incidentally all nations use their diplomatic crew, one way or another for that very same purpose, the IR being no exception) there is a norm. The host nation gives a warning to the other and the spies are given a deadline to leave. Apart from a PR victory this allows the host nation to later demand more. The embassy takeover instead isolated Iran and helped Iraq later in its attack, and...

The students revolution were just the spoiled and mollycoddled children of the wealthy elite. Many returned to Iran with western diplomas having never worked a hard days work in their life. They then used their intellectual prowess to manipulate a rabble of decent yet uneducated working class Iranians to revolution. Another nation highjacked by Svengali-like intellectuals who never hammered a nail, worked up a sweat, dug a fox hole or fired a weapon in their entire lives. The girl is his video for instance was the daughter upper middle class parents. Her charmed upbringing allowed her to earn her diploma in the United States. So when you hear her speak about shooting hostages in the head with such ease you can rest assure that she does not say this out of experience. In fact it is safe to say that she has never worked a day in her life, never served in a regular or irregular army and has never taken a life. Instead the certainty and ease with which she talks about murder can be more accurately traced to the same sociopathic pathology which emanated throughout the entire revolution.

3) a guard for opening fire on the Shah (another would-be assassin was given clemency by the Shah). 37 were killed over the 15 years in bank robberies, hostage takings and so on. Take a listen to the Shah’s speech in 1973 when he states that once the current oil contracts with the West expire in 1979, only the highest bids in an open bidding process would be considered for Iranian oil. *Dr. Mossadegh was never democratically elected; he was appointed to the job by the Shah.

( LA i believe, and from what ive seen he is living luxurious and lets be real why wouldnt he when his hom is a multi millionaire) she cant bring her wealth into usa thats correct, the usa wont let her but there is another destination which is quite close to usa. im not gonna name it cus you might think im lying. go search on google about where every iranian goverment official has been fleeing to. the numbers will make you think trump is poor compared to these people. they steal from the income of oil exportation. and thats only one way. they invest in that specific country from the stolen money and later move to usa cus the money is now coming from canada and not iran. ez pz. obama and other democrats loves these people btw.

Not one person in that embassy could have had anything to do with the 1953 coup - it had happened 26 years earlier! The students should have taken it up with Eisenhower administration and the CIA - they had no right to take over the embassy. That was an act of war and should have been treated as such! Say what you will about the USA's support of the Shah, but the people at the embassy were just innocent bystanders. I hope the USA never opens another embassy in Iran, ever! The revolution sure worked out well for Iran, didn't it?
@caj111
@caj111 10 жыл бұрын
Eric Bloch I didn't say the USA was a champion of democracy. You don't get it do you? William Gallegos wasn't even born at the time of the 1953 coup and had nothing to do with it. William was just doing his job and may or may not have cared about the Shah. He didn't choose to be assigned to that building. He was deployed there. What he supposed to do, roll over and kiss the students' feet? When you attack an embassy, it is an act of war, plain and simple. Whatever bad blood existed between Iran and the USA, it is the host country's job to protect foreign diplomats. Iran failed miserably in that regard and violated international law (say what you will about the USA's violation of international law, but Iran violated the law by allowing the embassy to be taken hostage). Go live in Iran, if it's such a great place. Enjoy yourself.
@caj111

Didn't it cost Iran something like $8 billion in frozen assets they never got back? Serves them right! I just wish the hostages got the money taken from Iran. The Algiers Accords were signed with a gun to their heads and they did not agree to not pursue claims against Iran personally, yet the courts keep denying them this right. I've said it before and I'll say it again - the people in the embassy had nothing to do with the 1953 coup that overthrew Mossadegh and were nothing but innocent victims. Also, I'd like to point out the number attacks on embassies in Iran over the years has numbered 26. Number of attacks on embassies in the USA: 0. I rest my case.

Again, try to have a civilized conversation and refrain from labellings and name callings. First, I did not say that the U.S provided chemical weapons to Saddam, I said that the West did it. The U.S supported Saddam while he was using them and blocked every resolution that would directly condemn Saddam for this crime against humanity, both in the U.S congress and the U.N. The mass media in the entire Western world was absolutely mute and silent on the subject.. read next

But if they are killed on earth, allah's creation, that means martyrs do die. A human cannot live inside another human's heart. Those are called MEMORIES and every human has them. That doesn't mean some magical being is keeping them alive in your hearts. Grow up.
