What did you think of the film?

One of the best cimax scene in Malayalam film and extremely natural acting by Joju George who delivers another master piece movie with his amazing talent.

That mirror scene gave me the longest goosebump feeling I think I've ever had..whoa.

Didn’t know some questioned the love interest. That’s the whole point about his transition or character introduction to Empathy. It’s so crucial to the whole plot and why in spite of his despicable act you really do feel really sorry for his character especially since it dawns on him the horror of his act and in a way shows his remorse and transformation… really excellently written, acted and concluded.

This is first movie and script of the director apparently and he didn’t have much experience making full movie so it’s pretty good effort. Joju george recognized that there was something in the script and supported the director by funding and making the movie so need to appreciate the effort and passion.

I literally ran out of the theater as the reveal was happening on screen. The fact that the movie was well acted and put together made the whole tragic climax disgusting to watch.

Malayalam industry keeps hitting those home runs

I already know the dog running with ball through the fence would have importance later in the movie. One of the things I learned from watching malayalam crime movies is the fact that even the smallest details are crucial for the big reveal. This is one of my favourite genres from malayalam movies: crime thrillers. Romantic movies bore me a lot.

The fact that he raped his niece was so disturbing to me, and it took a few seconds for me to realize that the girl would see her rapist’s face in her father, which was another layer of disturbing. This slow unravel of disturbing realizations really made the movie. Also, one scene that really broke my head was when the twins’ drunk dad grabs one twin (Pramod) to take home with him, while the other twin (Vinod) stood back against the wall, but mom throws herself over the boy (Pramod) to prevent drunk dad from taking him, only for drunk dad to grab the poor twin (Vinod) who was left behind against the wall… *cry cry*… both twins really only had a 50-50 chance of making it. :( I think Pramod realizes this - that he was just ‘lucky’.

A must watch for serious movies lovers … Joju showcase his serious approach and dedication to the industry ! We can expect many more from this talented star

After the rape scene and later when they show his love interest, I was thinking all the time till the end is that it. They just made him a good guy and they are not going to talk about the cruelties he did and then that twist came. I was so satisfied, love it

This movie climax was haunting me for 2 days.i felt 2 ways,1st why I watched the film, 2nd omg,I haven't missed it..everything abt the movie is so natural& convincing. brilliant acting by joju George.great still overwhelmed by the direction.

Spoilers: I think the director tried to give an underneath social message I.e. at the ending when Pramod sees Vinod in the other side of mirror face to face it means that Rape and violence are no different they are just different forms of chrime and equally unacceptable, Vinod did suicide due to his due thats his punishment and Promod besides living will live like a ghost to his whole life in front of his daughter and not able to get back his family which he lost coz of his bad nature and thats his lifetime punishment so people sould understand that domestic violence and rape both just mirrors to each other!!!!!! Overall the conclusion of the film reminded me of Old boy!!! Overall a great watch but the film could have been better if the screenplay be written in a very gripping manner rather than following roshomon effect.....the narration was too much straight forward ,back n forth confusing screenplay would have made this film a masterpiece for sure!!!!!

I really liked Abhishek bachan's portrayal of double role in breathe as well...quite similar approach

Great movie. Agree with Korbin though about too many flashbacks. But there's one glaring mistake no one's talking about: The kids in the flashbacks don't look like identical twins!

Spoiler alert-- The reason why he sees the girl in a TV show is not a convenience factor. That actually creates a surprise element (not a pleasant one for him) and makes him kill himself. That is even more significant when somebody who tracked his last phone call said he sounded very happy especially due to his new found love. Why would such a man kill himself? To turn the kill switch there has to be a quick and sudden surprise. The only way for that is to see this girl with her mom which is very much possible if you know the reality TV scene in India. 😃 Although there is one thing i felt was convenient. The moment someone hands Pramod the dead guy’s phone and telling him he was watching this program in TV. Have no idea why or how they wanted to know what he was watching.

Malayalam movies have least audience base traditionaly, most movies budget so thin, will be e taken within a house or 2 only difference they can show is in stories. That's why more good stories passed through commercial gate of movie production house, other industry can show varity having grand set people location around world etc but i feel tamil has equally good films tooo
