What a great talent for teaching. It seems to come from a place of the character of a good man. A jerk would never communicate in this manner. Well done. Thank you.

Great video. I wish something like this was out when I was 35, just getting into trials. Would have saved me a lot of lumps and bumps. Now that I'm 64, and even though I have 10 years of trials experience with the Wasatch trials guys, I need to avoid real challenging obstacles because I can't risk another injury. 99% success rate isn't high enough. However I love watching your videos and ride 4x a week in the Nevada deserts. Even at age I've become a better rider. You also converted me to IRC tires. I'm a huge fan.

Thanks Rich. You are not only a very skilled rider but an inspirational instructor. I am still riding the gnar at 70, and improving my skills thanks to your help at about the same rate that my physical body deteriorates. I have gone about as far as I can with my 500 fitted with an autoclutch and LHRB, so my new 300 should provide the necessary opportunity to advance my clutch control and overall competence. Learning how to ride without injury is now paramount, as old bones don’t heal very well. I find that the mental and physical benefits of hard enduro riding are unmatched and ride 200+ hours a year in all weather conditions. Going fast is not important to me, but riding skillfully and confidently is. The faster riders in my cohort have all faded away, mostly from painful and disabling injury. The mental chess game of solving the puzzle is endlessly entertaining for me. The slower speeds greatly reduce the chance of serious injury. Carry on my friend!

I've ridden 5MOH before and make no mistake there are some tough sections there but I found that so much of that terrain can look extremely intimidating but really isn't as difficult as your mind makes it out to be, staying fluid on the bike and good throttle and clutch control so you maintain momentum is all it really takes, once I stopped giving myself time to be freaked out about what was in front of me the ride became so much more enjoyable, don't get me wrong I still had my share of screw ups but once I got out of my own head it became much easier, I was surprised to see you doing this because your not much of a trail rider although 5MOH isn't really a typical trail either.

Thanks again for your hard work. Beta has the best engine imo. Most don't get it until they compare it to the pumpkin bikes. I would not trade mine for anything on the market.

Hey Rich! Congratulations, your work is amazing! I always struggle to decide which gear I should use, I feel like 1st has too much power but maybe I just need more clutch control. Which gear do you recommend for that kind of terrain? Thanks

well explained as always RICH, I have doubts about the appropriate gear in these sections, with beta 300 and a development of 13/48, which is better in first or second gear rich? thank you.🤙
@IRCTireUSAMoto
@IRCTireUSAMoto Жыл бұрын
I’m running my bike stock so it’s 1448. I’m in first gear. I wouldn’t run 1348 on that bike. I probably run 1350 and keep it in second.

Is the 300RR going to be too much for a novice 210lbs woods rider ? Turned off by the thought of XTrainer because of its top end. Also seems the trainer is less popular if I wanted to resell.
