Colm Clarke, a life-long resident of Monreagh in East Donegal Ireland, explores his memories of living 80 years in the county that National Geographic described as 'The Coolest Place on the Planet.'

I'm scottish but my ancestors were from Egglybane, Lisnamulligan, and Castlefinn in Donegal. I love learning about life in Donegal

Traced my family back to Donegal. Not sure which name they had when they lived there but I love the history you shared in this video.

A lot of these words are spoken, with flatter more nasally vowels, in Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania.

Try the subtitles, they're not perfect but give solid hints. Such a charming accent.
