Being in that stadium for that game is an experience I will never forget. The atmosphere was electric. I thought I would never witness anything better than when I was in the aviva when we beat the all blacks for first time on home soil but that topped it ☘️☘️

It's not Ireland, it's the IRFU and they don't fly the national flag and they don't play the national anthem.

I would imagine it's because ireland uses the national anthem and Irelands call at home games, 2 songs would mean 3 in total with the other countries anthem. That's 30 seconds of precious add time

It was a game and result worthy of the final. BUT… this was an over celebration of a group stage win. Ireland have an inferiority complex when it comes to the crunch knockout stages of world cups. The planets aligned and we didn’t take the opportunity.
