Sucks for you, I smashed that like button! ha! Neat idea that Evercade. An Amazon reviewer describes it as a dedicated console for retro games, and it comes with physical media. Sure you can fit 10000000 games on an SD card in some raspberry pi thing, but it's kind of clunky and unpolished. There is something to be said for having a cart and packaging and pictures, really showcasing a curated selection of selected games. That just seems really neat to me. I've already been trying to do this with my mini console collection. Just NES games on the NES mini, Just SNES on the SNES/Super Famicom minis, just Genesis on my Genesis mini, etc. My raspberry pi is in a mega drive case, so I need something to help with that. Maybe some kind of NeoGeo or Dynamo cabinet case for it :P. Anyway, thanks for showing this thing on your channel, It's on my radar now.

IREM had a way of making you feel claustrophobic while playing a video game. Their use of available space was often imitated, but rarely replicated. Cool look at a cool collection, thanks brother!

Excellent video. I literally bought the Evercade EXP which comes with Irem arcade 1 on Amazon at like 1am this morning and then I ordered Toaplan arcade collection 2 from eBay. Was going to get the Evercade VS but it's not compatible with both Namco cartridges as they were licensed for handheld only for some reason. Probably going to buy at least 2 Evercade cartridges per month. Really pumped to get my Evercade stuff even more thanks to your upload. Definitely love the physical aspect even though it's through emulation. The added touches really make it shine through.

Nice mix of games. I'm seriously looking at getting a few of those Evercade carts. I haven't heard anyone say anything really bad about them yet.

Item arcade 1 is such a fantastic cart. Worth r type alone in my opinion

This one looks like a pretty great collection! I will say that In the Hunt version looks VERY hard. I have actually never played the arcade version, but have plenty of experience with the Saturn one and this one looks even more difficult than that! If you like Metal Slug though (and I know you do) there is plenty of that games DNA there that makes it worth pushing yourself to get better...

Such a cool cart on the whole. Nice to have an arcade licenced version of rtype and it plays really well even tho I’m happy with the master system and Pc engine versions 😆 Battle Chopper is devilishly hard yet so much fun. It’s Mr Heli on the PC Engine but this arcade version is a fair bit better in my opinion. Looking forward to the release of the duke nukem collections hopefully later this year. I'm afraid that when you factor in the age of the games, the tiny amount of space that they occupy in terms of storage and then price you pay, this is a million miles from value. Hundreds of games can and should be put on one cartridge. This is a cash cow that I think you would have to be a fool to follow for such pitiful amount of Jurassic era content.
