thanks for posting, irene is a private person and she rarely cries in front of us but she's so sincere. being honest and open about things like this isn't easy and takes humility. i respect her so much, truly the best woman of this generation 💗💛💙💚💜

Right. Strong person bears more. I would like her to show more of her vulnerable side bcoz she don't hv to put a strong upfront everytime. But I think that in her current position, it's very hard to do so. As a leader, she must've received more pressure from their uppers and showing weakness will mean that she would be taken advantage of.

@@ZaNC4847 some people including myself just really hate showing their weak vulnerable side unless it’s someone I’m really really close to so I don’t think it’s just about her being the leader she just doesn’t want to show that side of her to a bunch of strangers and on cameras ( hope that doesn’t sound mean) id feel the same as an introvert and shy person just like she is too we just have to accept and respect that

@@ellayami3419 that’s not what they meant. Nowhere do they say “not crying” equals strong You just want to read what you want to read. I think they mean that Irene is often misunderstood as a cold person bc she rarely shows emotion. But in reality she is just good in hiding them -which can be really really hard sometimes- and that’s why they are praising her as a strong woman. That’s all

I think Irene is someone who is short tempered and when she is stressed or when things don’t go well she lets her anger maybe out on others without intention! I don’t think she ever wants to hurt anyone and the situation with the stylist came to my mind because that might have been the case there as well! She might have felt a lot of regret. Being an idol is not easy and I thinks it‘s so nice of her how honest she is! She just maybe has to control her anger but nobody is perfect and we all sometimes let our anger out on someone. Some more, some less but it‘s only human. I‘m glad Irene didn’t sugarcoat her relationship with her Mom but was so open and honest! You can really feel that she felt hopeless and wants to change. She is a good person ❤️

I feel like it's true. First-born daughters will almost always clash with their moms and Irene wanting to find a solution to it to mitigate or lessen the bickering shows she really cares. Some parents and daughters just accept their dynamics as it is, but she's looking for ways to improve her relationship with her mom. What a great role model.

The thing about mother-daughter relationships that I noticed: when a daughter is young, they fight with their moms, and may sometimes think that they hate her. But as the daughter grows older, she realizes that the one thing she would like the most is to be exactly like her mother.

I think it differs from case to case. My mothers mom was never around for the duration of her life and when she did come along (when my mom was 20ish) it was awkward and she never calls her “mom” or any of those names. So my mom has always strived to be the complete opposite of her mom and be there for me and my siblings and give us a life where we don’t have to worry and grow up fast the way she did

The problem, I think, is mostly the fans putting idols up on unrealistic pedestals(calling them angels or gods) and when the idol makes a very human mistake(not talking about idols that have actually done very bad things), then they are the worst person in the world, with zero percent chance at any kind of redemption.

Dude .a recent day I quarrelled with my mom and next day had to suffer from a neck cramp which lasted for a week..karma is sometimes so quickly to act. Regrets are applied in that manners too. But my mom is a really sweet loving sensitive person..Can't think why I always end up being so mean sometimes..problem is me as i guess.😐

I don't think so.. Conflicts or misunderstandings occurred in everyone's life. It's just whether you regret, realize, and the determination to change is the most important. Seeing Irene regretted it, and had communication with her mom afterwards, and asking for ways to change, I think she's growing up. Keep in mind these videos are from years ago.

U want advice? Dont think 😂 just realised this may be misunderstood. I mean dont think about what people’s personality is like. I have petty arguments/fights with my mum. N argue with my close friends but i dont with strangers and everyone else. So no, u cant think about the way someone acts towards everyone just because of her relationship with the people close to her, literally her mother😂. U can be impulsive with family but not with others and I believe it so to be with irene since we saw more evidence to prove this

I never said she is a bad daughter or a bad person now or ever but she's a human being capable of emotions. I'm a Reveluv but that doesn't mean I worship Red Velvet and see them as perfect beings without flaws. Being sensitive or getting offended very easily doesn't make a person bad but may make it problematic to them or to others but they always have a choice to think before they act on it, to deal with it or not, in a good or bad way.

It’s hard to see idols as anything other than “perfect”, since their perfect image is the only image we’re exposed to, therefore we consider it as truth. It’s not hate to recognise they can make mistakes and act impulsively. That’s just human nature. We can only hope she and other people struggling with similar situations develop healthier behaviours.

as an aries like her, i really understand why she always or sometimes may quarrel to her mom. whenever my mom and I fight on some petty things, clashes are really hard to handle and always end with both heavy heart. but I'm loyal to my mom and so is her, we both know it, deeply and when we join forces together we are stronger. Mother-Daughter relationships are really special, at least for me it is... Both of my parents have done things that I didn't like and that I wish I could forget, but for some reason I'm way more comfortable with my mother. You guys have to see that Irene is human and she can have those days when she's not feeling well like for example she's not energetic and the littlest things can make her upset and, you guys have to stop acting like it's not normal for Irene to have some type of argument with her mom and even if it weren't she apologizes to her mom and some of you guys probably don't even apologize to your mother's when you guys have an argument or when you guys become upset, all I'm saying is what her and her mom's relationship is like it's pretty normal and don't hate her for it please understand her too, and no matter how much they argue I'm sure they love each other and care for each other just like you and your mom

So if you guys don’t know about the scandal that happened a few months ago. There were staff, stylist etc that came forward about her attitude and how she can be bratty. She even apologized for it and said she’ll do better. Fans even tried to get her to leave the group.

@@xoticsinx6279 no no. I know. And i know about the 20 something other people that made public staements defending her character. I dont care that she had one instance with one person. she doesnt even show her face. Shes literally hidden herself behind socks. Shes apologized, it was accepted. So going through her entire now 7 year career to add up every instance of less than abject sweetness to add to your docket of confirmational bias 'proof' of an attitude problem, comes off a bit...hm nit picky? You cant get along with everybody and you cant always be passive. We will never know what really happened that day but there were plenty of people up in arms enough to defend her that i cant be convinced this is a habit for her

@@xoticsinx6279 and it was one (1) stylist that made the original post about her personal experience andone former back up dancer who like the post. Everybody else alleged to like the post were proven fake. As i mentioned, about 20 people from backup dancers, vogue editors, photographers, and former SM staff have stuck their necks out to make public statements in defense of Irene. Leave her alone. Get the facts.
