Thank you for posting this, especially the lilacs. My mom was from MN and grew up with lilacs, which she loved. She tried to grow them in CA, where she and my father settled down. It never got cold enough, so someone told her to pack them in ice when it was their blooming time. She did this faithfully for seven years, even while she was undergoing chemo and radiation therapy. They bloomed on the day of her funeral. We were able to put a small bunch on her casket. This was the anniversary of her passing.

I am so glad to hear that you will get him neutered when I lived in Hawaii stray cats or such a problem because so many people would come and live for a short time and then leave and just let their cats go free in the wild. So there is an organization that catches them neuters them and then let. And there are feeding stations in various places

Charlie is the right color to be a Holstein , but a tad too small ! Maybe he could be a horse , Charlie horse,,,,,ha ha ha ,,,,our neighbor had a nightmarish experience with Lilacs spreading everywhere under ground in every direction , so when I wanted a Lilac bush my wonderful hubby placed an iron ring in the ground that went down 20 inches and was about 24 inches across . This contained the roots and produced a lovely Lilac tree , in the spot I wanted it in . I saw a posting the other day showing a sign that said "" drive carefully as my car slipped off the road straight into a nursery parking lot today"",,,,I thought that sounded like me because my car can't stop from turning into the nursery every time I try passing it !!,,,,Love the strays white moustache , whiskers , eyebrows and open neck Tee shirt,,he's lovely !Since you found him out in the garden it's only fitting you name him Monty after my favorite gardener Monty Don !! Thanks for this charming new video, you're working regularly in your garden, it will be very beautiful with all your cares and ideas, you know so well the clever and helpful ingredients when you are planting, did your Mom or Dad teach you all that ? By the way, I wish a bright and joyful Birthday to your Mom ("Claire...have a goooood day with your Knight too !!🤩😅). I didn't know that it was better to cut the spent heads of daffodils ("jonquilles" in french !), to help them more for next year. Yes here too, the heads are spent now since one week, so I must cut them this next week ! Today Sunday, I've been with my English neighbour (like each spring) to a very beautiful "Fête des Plantes", in a great park, with a small castle, which is the place of the Lycée agricole for students (what a dreamy place to study you imagine !!💞), and there are soooooo many plants, flowers, fruit trees, roses trees, because the exponents bring a lot a lot of....and also the benevolents have prepared home made delicious "gâteaux" (we have chosen clafoutis aux mirabelles et tarte aux pommes, hummmm...) with a good coffee, what a splendid day we had !! A lot of English living here in Limousin are coming too to this very delightful event !!! I bought some charming plants, and my neighbour...a lot !!! As an authentic english woman, ha ha !!!😋😅. Mr Cat Gentleman is really as beautiful as all other kitties, and if he is in peace with Mister Charlie, that's great !!! Sorry I cannot taste the cheesecake of your Mom, but at least we can see it and imagine... These specialized pots train roots while potted so when transplanted to soil, the nutrient absorption is better.
