@@hanakinsidewalker Yees, isn't that always the case. There will always be something different and special about every countryside and the people living there. But in the case of Ireland... and Scotland too for sure... in my eyes they just have a certain mystique that begs to be explored.

Lovely rendition. Zoltan is an incredible musician who captures Irish spirit in his music--a difficult spirit to catch because of its contradictions: both ancient and modern, sad and happy. Wonderful rendition, as I said.

@1916dnicolas The Irish Rovers sang this in the 60's or 70's - the first two verses. I have a copy I made from an early vinyl I bought when it first came out. A fair amount of their music is very much in this style (Do you remember "The Unicorn"?).
