Well done. Lilting is a rare form of entertainment' these days. It goes back to the time when people couldn't afford musical instruments' and hunmed the tunes instead. You are keeping a tradition alive.

Not only that but the bloody Normans robbed whatever culture they could from the Celtic and gaelic peoples. Then of course the murderous puritan named Oliver Cromwell.

The droning, abrasive, builds and reprises that follow with sweet codas that deliver such satisfactory resolve are reminiscent of live Zydeco and black metal orchestral compositions to me. In other words, me like you music stuff, it good.

I come from a long line of Irish ancestry. My moms maternal grandma was a 1st generation immigrant and everyone was 100% Irish until my moms mom married my grandpa who was half Dutch and half German. My dad is half French and some amount German. With distant English and Scottish. We think he may have a few drops of Irish blood(Irish possible with his distant English and Scottish roots but we're not sure. My dads mom, who was 100% French, definitely didn't have the typical Spanish looking features(not to be racist). She had fair skin, dark hair, freckles and super bright green eyes. I know there were a lot of invasions in Europe and people of different backgrounds mixed a lot. So my theory is that MAYBE she had some not so distant Irish ancestors and just didn't know it. I'd estimate that I'm probably between 25 and 30% Irish. But yeah, I still have no idea what lilting actually is. I know nothing about my culture lol 😂😂😂
