Corpse Reviver #2s are delicious. I was a little surprised at the color as I've never had one made with red absinthe, but I was more surprised that most of the Tryers didn't like it

When the recipe for Zombie popped up on screen, I was reading too fast, I thought it said "grenade fragments" instead of "grenadine, fresh mint." 😂

What's interesting (to me, anyway) is that when the Zombie cocktail was invented in 1934, zombies in film were very different than what we think of as zombies today. For a good example, check out the 1932 movie "White Zombie." They were creatures made with voodoo magic who basically acted as mindless servants. They didn't eat people. That's a concept that came much later in cinematic history--1968's "Night of the Living Dead," as a matter of fact. Yes, that one. So by that token, Lolsy actually chose well. The zombie in Hocus Pocus is more accurately a zombie than the modern ones we're familiar with, because he was made by magic and acts as a servant rather than a flesh eating ghoul.

And another oft-forgotten bit of trivia is that zombie's didn't crave brains in the 1968 "Night of the Living Dead" - they likely ate them, only because they just randomly ate all flesh of humans they encountered, but it wasn't their driving hunger. Not until 1985's "Return of the Living Dead" did the brain-eating zombie enter the pop culture world.

A lot of the cocktails that get served up here are obviously just thrown together, but the Corpse Reviver Number 2 and the Zombie actually are pretty famous. I want to say they're both usually considered Tiki drinks.

The Corpse Reviver was still made wrong tho, it should've just been a green absinthe wash and not a shot of red absinthe, and no elderflower flavour or tonic for that matter. This cocktail was closer to a Necromancer.

I had to come back here days later & go directly to seeing Lolsy,s face & the sound that leached from her body as she smelled the second drink , I haven’t laughed that hard since when I first seen her do that days ago . I could watch that on repeat over & over & laugh my ass off all day long . I,m now on my third day going back watching her face , funny as hell , who knows how many days I,ll keep coming back to get a laugh in .

In the US you can get dry ice from ice cream stores and if you put little chunks in drinks or large pieces in punch bowls they smoke and the heavy fog goes to the floor! Very spooky.

FYI, a zombie kind of tastes like fruit juice, if you drink a dozen or so in an hour you will wake up in a different country the next day, in a shrub, with your underwear on your head and no memory after the first couple if drinks.
