"Men are afraid of fashion and color" made me think of my dad. He ALWAYS wore white dress shirts to work. One Christmas I got him a lavender shirt, and when he wore it to work all the ladies in the office told him how nice he looked. After that he decided color wasn't so bad and he got several more shirts in different colors. Sometimes it just takes that little push to get them to TRY (pun intended) something different.

I really think most people, men and women, should get professional help at least once. My office went from business attire to casual and after a truly awkward fashion incident with an employee in front of the building, they brought in consultants to talk about clothing types, colors, etc. Things really improved sartorially after that.

About two weeks after we went business casual, one of our programmers was outside enjoying a smoke and a cup of coffee chatting with a co-worker. A passerby dropped a bit of change into her cup and told her he hoped things would turn around for her. Quite embarrassing (and her coffee was ruined), but when word got around management got the message that things had gotten a bit *too* casual when people are being mistaken for beggars.

I'm a programmer. I work from home and often I don't bother to get dressed till lunch. Well unless the postman is coming. Having said that I do like colour and pattern (including underpants). I just don't like branded clothes, or needless spending due to trends.

if you're new to these people watch "irish people watch my 600 pound life". i think only diane is it in from this group but the others are just as supportive on that video as this one. im not sure if its just because they are on video on dont wana be seen as mean, or if they genuinely feel like that. i like to think they are actually good people and do feel the way the seem to on video.

I don't think any of them need a makeover, but it would be lovely to see them get fawned over by the Queer Eye guys and boost their confidence. Ryan and Dermot have this self-deprecating thing going on, George less-so. From personal experience, the self-deprecation comes from truth but you can laugh about it. It would be nice, though to see how the Queer Eye guys built them up (or if Ryan would just hate everything as usual. Lol).

I've fucking sobbed watching this show. Whether it's the fact that it changes people's lives for the better (especially when they have no confidence), or when the people express that they understand how hard it is for the LGBTQ community and affirm that they are allies.

I must be the only one who disliked how James portrayed himself in this video. He just came off like a try-hard douchebag and tried his best "roasting" the cast of queer eye. He's not " throwing shade", he's acting like a snobby little brat. That's my opinion though, the rest of the video was great though.

Well...I didn't like him mocking her not knowing much about guac. That wasn't very nice but maybe it's a defense mechanism. He was happy about their wedding and didn't like how much that guy was saying all those negative things about himself. So, he's not all that bad.

What I love about queer eye is that it’s not just gay guys being seen and doing good thing for people who need it, but it helps see the humanity in people like opposites of the political spectrum, etc & that’s really special.

I hate when people say Karamo does nothing. He has people to go outside of their comfort zone, face their fears, and accept the truth. The way he does it isn't forced, so it looks very passive, but they wouldn't have done that without him. He's like a short-term therapist lol .
