So it’s done with it’s training runs, it has already mapped my house. Looks perfect. Tonight I’m going to send it out on it’s first clean job. Another note in trading mode it ran for 2 hours 40 min and still had some battery power left.

transam nice, ours should be arriving tomorrow and the s9+ Friday! Trying to think of optimal spots to park them

polloloco3 cool, let me know what you think. From experience I put the dock so the robot goes with the grain/length of the wood floor as it leaves the dock. Whatever way the robot faces when it comes off the dock is the way it’s going to vacuum. Any other questions just ask me?

So does 1 tank = to the thousand square feet?
@transammatt5 жыл бұрын
Craig Bennett II Craig I have 750sf of hard wood and still had water left in tank. That was on the lowest water setting. It defaults to the highest setting from iRobot.so yes the water last a long time. Hope that answers your question?

Update on my braava m6, so it has been cleaning for a week now. On the most part the floors look cleaner, BUT streaks and tire marks are being left on the shiny floor. So the streaking looks like a white residue kind of hazy. The tire marks are equally disturbing. Guys if any of you are experiencing this please reply back. I called iRobot and they escalated it to their tech team. So I use the wet cleaning pads that came with the robot and from Best Buy I bought the washable pads which are microfiber and worked great on my braava 380t robot. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Might try 2 things. 1) streaks or residue might be from the pad being too wet. You can change settings on app for how much water it sprays. 2) Are streaks like a foamy white, maybe if you're using a cleaning solution it's too foamy or try using less solution?

Samuel Lee thank you. I have been doing some experiments I put it in deep cleaning mode with less water that does seem to be better. But it still leaves tire tracks after tracking back over the clean area. They just need to have better navigation towards the end of the run.

Returned mine today. Streaks everywhere on my glossy floor. Tried everything from distilled water to Bona only use. It sucks big time. I had to clean all the floor by myself to remove the streaks. It’s impossible to count on this robot for mopping.

I love my small bras a but I want to get one of these 2 but what I hate on this is that on the “cheap” braava the pads were colored and that was a lot Easier to tell the pad types

Yep, make sure it says Braava m6 on the packaging. The Braava m6 not backwards compatible with the older Braava jet models.

The Braava 240 handled my kitchen and my bathroom amazingly. Ill let it do the living room today and my house will be done. For the $179 I paid, I’m happy.

*I run the m6 daily, and my floors look awesome🌼 **allabout.wiki/iRobot** I wet mop 2 days and dry sweep the rest of the days. When I first got it, I used the included disposable pads. I didn't like them--the dry pad has no depth so if it picks up a chunk of something, like dry cat food, then it pushes it around or drags it around the floor. The wet pad wasn't very absorbent so left streaks and wheel marks.*

500 bucks is a bit much. I can get my cleaning lady to clean my whole house 5 times for that price. Probably 3-4 months worth of cleaning.
