I like how the Scrybes are three of the most competitive, asshole men imaginable and then a Goth grandma who's just like, "Alright, I'm turning the game off since NO ONE CAN GET ALONG."

And i love how the idea they where going for is that in the scrybes last minutes in the cabin they left as many cluses as they could behind for the next challenger who faces leshy out of hope that they could set them free again

I do like the idea that magnificus didn’t even fucking play. He just kept teleporting around and vandalizing the cabin with invisible clues so Leshy just decided to carve his fucking eye out.

Maybe she was defeated adter the first playthoguht since you can still open the safe but you only found a piece of meat(while the chamber that has the one eyed wolf doesnt open at all)

I really like the idea that leshy didn’t just ascend like P03, and decided to duel the other scrybes for the purpose of play testing his game. Conveniently, it also means he didn’t leave any stone unturned, and made sure every scrybe was accounted for and transformed into a card- stopping him from getting jumped like P03.

What I find interesting here is that while Leshy and Grimora have voices (good ones, might I add), while P03 doesn’t because they are trapped in a card. I think if they were to have a voice, it would be one that sounded a lot like a bratty teen using a robotic voice filter. I also really love how this is presented, it has essentially turned the comic into a film which I really like.

My headcanon voices are: Leshy-like a throat that hasn’t been used in a decade Grimora-Witch of the West but softer P03-Dib Membrane but slightly deeper Magnificus-Darkrai (Pokémon 10) but less gravelly

Leshy is much stronger then other skrybes(if we take Po3 as a standard because he easily torn his head off) . He is faster because he was the one who originally found the old data . He was more proficient with cards because he loved the game so much . So in the end the only chance the scrybed had was a player to free them

P03 was just a computer. He wasn’t physically strong but he was mentally strong. The skrybes are equally strong in their own way

I feel as though Leshy despite being the scribe who bested the rest of them, is actually the worst at the game itself. He is like a player who prefers lore hunting over anything else. If i had to guess i feel like he would have cheated like how when you do to well in certain first and second runs in the game, he heavily cheats thanks to the old data, but even when he isn't influenced by the old data, he still cheats. in the final battle he gives himself an extra life and creates cards that shouldn't really exist (the moon being an entire board). P03 is the most focused on the gameplay being the most observant of you when playing, calling you out for each mistake. Grimora doesnt truly care about the game and just wants to be done with it all, that's why her last hurrah is built specifically to make sure the player can save them since leshy was smart enough to take out magnificus and put him in a hard to find spot since magnificus is shown in act 3 to be the smartest out of all of them being the one who makes the plan to stop whatever scrybe has the old data. holy crap my brain just started typing and would not stop.

P03 did the best. It was a better player than Leshy in the technical sense. That was until Leshy started cheating. The Totems and Bears weren’t originally part of his plan, since they ruined immersion. Leshy decided to put them in explicitly because that fucking android needed to die. The Old_Data let him do it. As punishment for being the most difficult to deal with, it was transformed into one of the weakest cards in the game and is forced to watch as it is routinely used as a chump blocker and quick sacrifice for something actually worthwhile.
