If I can recall from the Super B-Daman anime. Iron Cyclops was actually designed after Proto 01. Dr. Tamano mentions that someone must've found the secret plans for Proto 01. Obviously, King B-Das was behind it, since they are always one step ahead of Team Guts.

I personally like proto 01 because i'm just the type of person who enjoys mass production mechs. like gm instead of gundam and all that.

Iron Cyclops is so brazenly gaudy and I think I love it. I can see why someone could hate it but god is it my kind of aesthetic (loud).

Reaction to Bottle Cap B daman?

This laid-back style is a really fun one. You're only getting Iron Cyclops to further complete King B-Das with his OS compatriotd (though you can substitute König Cerberus with Stag Cerberus based on what happened in the manga). Also, it's nice to achieve Perfect Mode on these post-OS Super B-Daman if you got the right tools. Also, what are your thoughts on Bottleman now that it has gone as far as the God Cap System, and is it as good as one would think about it? I feel like God Cap is more or less an all-new low due to a lack of supporting media to run concurrent with its releases (which is why the Basic Bottle and DX Systems are fun as-is). The Team Guts Set is a novelty though, with the shikishi to pair with your Team Guts collections.

Iron cyclops is not ugly! But the stickers do suck. I do have a bias for the colors, they have a pastel blend to em, kinda 60's aesthetics.
