Love the sub 500 points matches. It's an amazing system but I think at its most interesting at this level.

I agree, I find if you go to high with the points the game can feel a bit grindy where as lot points like this are great

Same here, Azog/Bolg and Dain can be cool to see sometimes but the game is much more fluid and interesting with captains and smaller forces.

I wonder how different it would've gone if Jordy had run an Iron Hills list with Dain as his leader. Less troops but Dain is a beast. Would've been interesting

Yeah I reckon Dain would have put a stop to the brute. Numbers don’t work if there’s something plowing through your ranks unchecked.

18:23 the gundabad brute kills 1 capitan and then 10 models, so total of 11 instead of 9. Absolutely brutal

Conquest! Seriously you guys have got battle reps on point. Just when i think they cant get better they do. Cant tell you how many great bat reps are ruined by bad cinematography, or bad commentary. You guys are doing really well. Any thoughts on doing a mordheim bat rep?

The troll getting the S10 hit seems extreme. S6 or something like that seems fairer. When other trolls or monsters like smaug or the drake don’t get that buff

But it is the only thing which makes him special. And it is not really OP, just a two-life-model can stop him and Fight 5 is not great either for a troll with this huge base when in close combat. Jordy's list simply had no answer regarding the brute and it was well played, too

With S10 you wound most enemys on 3+ . That is still an 1/3 chance of failling. So in one charge you probably "only" kill 2-4 models, any model with more than one wound is impossible to kill that way. And that is only if you can charge. In combat nealy any hero with Strike or F5+ has a good chance at killing him, as he is only D6 , most heros wound him on 5+. Depending on the Enemy you have to kill 10-13 models to get his points back (or an Hero if you are lucky)

**Spoiler** The curse of the dwarves strikes again! They never win on Conquest Creations. I guess you could argue the dwarves suffered from their lower tier hero’s. They invested in numbers but that was cancelled out by the troll brute. Needed Dain or even Murin to take back control of the situation.

now. you SAY that troll hasn't done much for you in the past and dies with in 1-2 turns of the game. but maybe this is why he gets singled out immedetly. the potentual of just wiping out 2-10 models is honetly to extreme. other models that can do similar things are either a lot more costly, or dont have a lot lower in strength hit. that S10 hit needs to be reduced, it is to high, (yes i know fight 5, D 6, big base ect.) but it is still a monster and every monster i see allways when it gets into combat does damage to the enemy. this is to much potential damage.

I definitely don't think this unit is over powered at all. He is so easy to kill that if he didn't have the potent aggressive potential he would be entirely useless. I wouldn't tweak his profile at all
