Nice memory, I remember it well, was there also with my long hair, it was the Charity Night, featured Brian May/Jimmy Page /Bad News, also popped in for that one, a sunday night and my second show that week for Maiden's 'Somewhere in time' Tour, yes, we gave you a cheer also, best of luck.....................

I remember watching this in Ireland aged 11 and being very jealous as i was and still am a Maiden freak at 38.....though it did inspire me to believe that anything was possible if you believe: i ended up becoming a sound engineer for many of my favourite Metal bands for 14 years.....just believe. If this was the NSPCC charity gig with Bad News supporting then I was there. It was my second Maiden gig. I saw them previously at Wembley Arena with Anthrax supporting doing their Persistence Of Time album.

Sadly anyone who was a celebrity at the time was affiliated with Saville as most of them had no idea the man was a nonce 😢 Maiden back then we're probably too pissed 🍻 to notice anyway lol
