Yeah iron maiden are the greatest metal band ever, the first album I heard was piece of mind and I was 12 years old and have been a huge fan ever since, their music is absolutely superb and absolutely phenomenal.

First time I heard maiden was at a party my older brother took me too. It was prowler and I loved it the moment I herd it! few years later I bought the number of the beast tape and boom box and brought it to school blasting it. Got it taken away. The moment I got it back I brought it back to school and blast it again! Lost it for good! UP THE IRONS!

Not everybody likes Blaze, but this guy was around when Bruce wasn't. I like Virtual XI and X Factor. Yeah it.was not.the vulgar display of.vocal abilities, but it brought a dark atmosphere and something new. The overall amazing and deep lyrics. I like.these albums much and don't care if this opinion is accepted or not

Sign of the cross, man on the edge, futureal, the edge of darkness are real good songs. Sure, Blaze can't sing as high as Bruce (Fair point, who can ? 😂) but thx to him, Maiden could go on and Bruce could come back after that. Valid opinion.

I really admire maiden for not hiring a Dickinson clone during those days (Judas Priest) but I really dislike baileys voice....before during and after maiden ......the blaze era albums were good but I really don’t like his voice...and I’m not comparing him to Bruce

I have always liked Blaze as a singer but i can't name a single singer who could replace Bruce without being a failure. It was such a shame that they forced Blaze to try. The X Factor, Accident of Birth and Brave New World are also some of my all time favorite albums. And they would have never happened if Bruce hadn't gone solo.

@@maidenrulz73 Strangely I always thought blaze was exactly that, a Dickinson clone. To me (at the time) he even looked like him. But I didn't like him and that didn't just come from Bruce leaving and him coming in, I never liked Wolfsbane either. Never hated the guy (well, ok, maybe just a little), just didn't really like his Era of Maiden. But I'd already not really listened to Maiden much post somewhere in time anyway for some reason.

I think going way back for me now " phantom of the opera" spawned the sound that the early Dickinson albums played to great effect after Diano.Trouble is like any band over the years the ideas start to get used up and a generic sound replaces those mighty tracks of before.The genius has been watered down and sadly the music suffers . The Rolling Stones are a classic example also.AC/DC,Priest, Rainbow,,,,the list is endless.The only band that evaded was Motorhead.

My first time......1983.....my friend had the number of the beast record....I knew really quick there was just something about them....others bands were doing the twin lead thing but maiden just had it down....the galloping bass.....the whole package.....I went out and bought piece of mind and that was it....maiden fan for life 🤘😷🤘
