Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out my Iron Maiden "Fear of the Dark" tab video. I wanted to address a couple of things about the intro clean section and the guitar solo section. First off, the intro clean section was quite challenging to capture the exact feel of the studio version. The lead guitar in that part is played a little loosely, but I did my best to get the rhythm figures as precise as possible. However, in the live versions I've seen, the rhythm is a bit more defined, so keep that in mind. Now, let's talk about the guitar solo section. The second solo was so fast that I had to take off my jacket! I know, I know, Dave Murray is the one who usually rocks the jacket and visually, it really should be the other way around. 😂. But it’s all in good fun :) I hope you enjoy learning this song as much as I did. It has definitely given me a newfound appreciation for Iron Maiden. And don't worry, there will be more Iron Maiden songs coming up on the page. I'd love to hear your suggestions on which songs you'd like to see next. Let's keep the Maiden spirit alive! \m/

As a hardcore Iron Maiden fan, I’ve always been a bit bummed that ‘The Trooper’ was the only Maiden song you’d done tabs of. This cover was perfect - please also do ‘Hallowed Be Thy Name’, would love to hear you play it and hopefully learn it myself🙌🏻🙏🏻

Just saw Dave Murray’s solo - his legato licks are truly legendary and so fluid. Don’t really realise how good the Maiden guitarists are till you try playing their songs

The first song that got me to become a fan of Iron Maiden since early 2021

I didn't know this one and now it's gonna become part of my repertoire, I love learning new tunes here. This song is SICK! Interesting pin about the loose timing on the intro solo, I noticed it was slightly off-beat and 100 percent knew that was exactly how it was on the studio because you DON'T make mistakes; it's so beautiful and almost feels like the inspiration for some of SOAD's clean parts! 10/10 man!! EDIT: DEAR LORD I JUST GOT TO THE END 15/10

The whole song Is easy but the solo is always hard for me😢

For me, this is the perfect song. It has everything. Beautiful slow bits, powerful fast bits, amazing melodies, great vocals, and a live atmosphere that is second to none. Last I heard this in an arena, I thought it was going to come crashing down lol.

DANKE for pointing out the difficulty w/ the clean melody for the intro! The feel, the phrasing … i think it is quite hellish to replicate! Then the (original) vocals reiterate the theme differently … ever-so-slighty but differently! Drives me up the wall! Would be very curious to know if this was a conscious decision in the composition.
