After over 40 years they still have fun on stage and give you the best damn live show you'll ever see And the fans, usually three generations of fans, teaching from father to son. It's absolutely amazing.

Maiden guys are such dorks on stage and that's sooo fun!Like they have nothing to prove anymore so they are just having fun. Janick Gers (that guitarist which dances), he is amazing and so fun to watch. He has sooo much energy and happiness and he just feels the music, and sadly he somehow gets so much hate from Maiden fans (idk why tbh) so I'm soo happy that you loved watching him go insane!

Best song of the album hands down! love the story. [Story] A man and his wife got rallied up by the media that the world is going to end. He builds a shelter and both go in there and thing about how the world will be like. They decide to commit suicide while mistaken a earthquake for a nuclear disaster and they are found holding each other in their arms.

i have seen them 32 times to date here in the uk. they are without doubt the best metal band on the planet and the best live band bar none. Every one of them the very top of the tree at what they do. the skipping guitar player is Janick Gers. The main solo is Dave Murry my favorite guitarist of all time listen to Blood Brothers from the Brave new World album

At this point, they enjoy way more to play together cause the band has been through a lot of hard stuff in their respective lives, and they seem to have found some kind of peace inside now. They also kept Janick Gers into the band after the lineup changes, a testimony to the sense of family they have now.

Maybe: Aces High, The Trooper, The Clansman, Sign of a cross, The Wicker Man, Iron Maiden, Run to the Hills (Rock in Rio 2019) Comming Home, Blood Brothers, 2 Minues to Midnight, Dance of Death ( En Vivo) Wasted Years, Can i play with madness ( Flight 666) You should have and must read the bio from Bruce Dickinson - the singer- What does this button do? - 440 pages of fun, history and many running gags. I read this book in two days. Adrian Smith, the blond short hair guitarman (golden) release a book in october, i think. About Maiden, his life and fishing.

Iron maiden have been my favorite metal band since I was 12 , first album I heard was piece of mind, I was blown away by the superb musicianship and their music has touched my life so deep. When you say its a favourite, you have to remember that at this show they were touring the new album which had this song on it, so it is brand new to everyone at the time. But Maiden of got a knack of making classics and not just a travelling nostalgia act from the 80s which alot of bands from that era are.

Finally! I thought that you, sir, might be dim, or at the very least, eternally high. I found it hard to believe that, as a fellow musician in a similar genre, you had NO critiques, insights, or observations regarding the music, presentation, or musicianship of this band. From the "Hallowed Be Thy Name" video till now, you've rocked out (rightly), but had precious little in the way of professional feedback. I believe that I'm here for the same reason as 99% of the people watching this reaction; we're Maiden fans! I enjoy seeing what others have to say about my favorite band. I'm certain that I am not alone, as OUR favorite band never garnered much air-play on the radio. It is wonderful to observe people "discovering" this enigma so many years later. While I cannot honestly say that "The Wolf Hunterz" music is what I enjoy on a daily basis, I can appreciate the obvious intermingling of audiences between the two bands, and I hope that you will allow a little 'maiden to run through your veins!

For over 30years Maiden has been pulling 100k~200k crowds w/o needing a festival or any other bands to add to the draw. That is the surest sign of greatness. It's no wonder bands like Lovebites used Maiden as the blueprint to start off from.

If you consider yourself a performer, you MUST learn about these guys. THIS is what they DO. Happy? They know that they are the luckiest sons of female dogs in the world. Their success rests on happy audiences and record sales. They didn't get air play . Mad, multi generational fan base. Sort of like Metallica. Up the Irons!

While not a love song as such, it is based around a loving couple, much like the film it's based off of. Only in the song the couple, rather than see each other suffer, decide to take poison together. Wrongly of course as it was an earthquake not the bomb. For reference, the couple in the film die of radiation poisoning.

This song is based on the Raymond Briggs novel. In the book, the couple are killed my nuclear radiation but, in this song, they form a suicide pact and poison themselves. I wouldn't call this a love song.
