The studio actually gave this film to Jon Favreau to direct because they thought the movie was just another cheesy superhero movie for kids. Jon wasn't that big at the time so they just toss the project onto his lap. They pretty much gave the movie to Jon to direct with the intent that it was going to be a one off and then make toys to sell afterwards... little did they know that this movie literally kicked off an entire franchise.

I'm really glad that Jon was also implementing a bit of this humor into this movie (how Tony and Pepper are talking to each other, the dummies etc.). Simply makes it one of my, if not THE favorite movie in the entire MCU.

He came across with too much anger or aggression. Also, if you've warched BTS for IM1 & IM2, RDJ seemed to have more fun & better chemistry with Don. That's got to be important.

You may be able to achieve more stability if you could arrange a horizontal cable at the actors waist, thereby controlling vertical and horizontal movement - much like the device in the etchasketch

Love this movie. I actually like part 3 more but always respect this one for starting the entire MCU. Too bad the MCU had to die at Endgame. Now it's basically just a reanimated corpse, eerily similar to our current president.
