It is impossible to imagine anyone else playing Tony Stark/Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr was born to play that roll. He and all of the MCU cast and crew did an absolutely fantastic job. I know I’ll never get tired of watching those movies. The fact that there is a chronological order/time line to watch them in is VERY cool 😎👍 “Avengers.....assemble!”

Man I applaud the practical effects in this movie. That's why the armors looked significantly more "real" in this movie than any of the others. That's the one thing I appreciate about Iron man 3.

The Mark 42 has a special place in my heart I absolutely adore the fainter gold colouring and the more coverage of the yellow on the suit its absolutely amazing

I'd have loved the movie if it wasn't for the Mandarin's plot-twist and Pepper's unnecessary "badass" (aka ridiculous) Extremis moment. Apart from those scenes, the movie was brilliant and I appreciated their more introspective take on Tony's character. Too bad it wasn't developed throughout the whole movie, which kinda goes downhill after the Mandarin, imho.

@@thelowendstudio its half /half most cases the lower body is cgi, and the some deatils are cgi. or its all...like the fight in Ironamn 2 against the drones ....it was biorth actors with a trackingsuit for the cgi and a helmet

Most of it is cgi, they just use a portion of the suit to have scale and model the cgi onto it

I hate it when people constantly say that Iron Man is 100% CGI, because he's not, as proven in this video/ The only parts that are CGI are his repulser blasts and the flight scenes.

From what I looked up, blanks do not make as much noise as live ammo being fired. And also actors usually have some sort of small plug in their ears during these scenes. Linda Hamilton got permanent hearing loss during T2 for forgetting to have it in the elevator scene.
