Hello and welcome back to the KenOhWee Channel and for today's episode I'll be comparing 2 amazing spiderman action figures from 2 amazing companies and I hope it'll help whoever's interested in knowing the 2 figures in depth.
I tried my very best to highlight every detail shown in the figure and if I happen to miss anything, I do apologise. There may be some points you may or may not agree and I completely respect that as at the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference and both of these are great figures so you can't go wrong.

I am CERTAINLY okay with the shf spidey, even with the thong design. I dont think of it that way. For me, i like it bc it looks more like an action figure. The shf spidey's paint job looks MUCH cleaner in my opinion. 3:37 me when i saw this video in my recommended

Wow I love the look of the SHF but I really want the magnet hands. If shf has the magnet hands I would get that one so I’m torn! Lol ( btw the new mafex iron Spider-Man now has the blue glowing eyes tint, the infinity gauntlet, and the kill mode eyes. But I don’t think it comes with the Peter Parker head)

Yeah, I too was surprised by the amount of detail on the shf, especially after the homecoming and the old iron spider. But great video! You made me smile.But I honestly cant wait for the new iron spider from mafex, by looking on some preview pictures, it seems like it also has the gauntlet and instant kill eyes. But the details..I dont know. But the eye is way too blue, thats for sure!

Really entertaining video & a very fair comparison. I used to favor SHF as a whole because the build quality, paintjob & unmasked faces are still unmatched in this scale. However, MAFEX has been improving a lot and they're releasing the comic versions of characters, which I'm way more invested than anything in the MCU. Therefore I learned my lesson and just try to carefully buy the best releases from both lines. I still believe that SHF's line of Shinkoccho-Seihou is unmatched in the 1:12 scale.

The mafex looks so much more like a person, specifically Tom Holland, inside a suit. If anything, the deeper line cuts on the already skinny limbs of the figuarts makes it look like Peter underneath is incredibly thin and weak. Peter in the mcu isn’t a huge buff guy, but he also isn’t a skinny chicken. Even the shape of the mafex head is accurate to Tom. Figuarts paintjob is better and cleaner, so really it depends on what you want. The Peter heads are both pretty bad. A manipple head would work better than either.

i do have both, but i still prefer the MAFEX for Iron Spider. the MAFEX is more accurate proportion wise and that's more important to me as i have no issue with the waldos and also has a replacement waldo by MAFEX. the SHF my gripe is with the proportion and the tiny baby fist that is creepy; good thing i pose it with the wall crawl hands. i actually bought the SHF just for the gauntlet to put on the smart Hulk.

honestly if it weren't for the legs on the S.H it'd be the perfect figure, the metallic paint is more consistent its darker and more accurate, the eyes glow paint looks more accurate, their build is more accurate but honestly the iron legs on the S.H kills it for me i feel like thats a big deal when it comes to that figure.

I'm confused, you have a comparison of the accessories, and you don't want to count two of the SHF accessories that came with the figure. If you're trying to compare apples to apples, take away the magnetic hands/feet. Also, the range of articulation is way better on the SHF. Mayfex shouldn't have gotten any good credit for the nearly 75% or more, fragile broken spider legs that people had to deal with.

@Depression Police you're an idiot. What's the definition of accessories? Extra parts that come with something. I said he didn't take into account two of the accessories from SHF, gauntlet and kill mode eyes. Why exactly would he not count the kill mode eyes in the comparison? In his "round 1", he didn't have any problems comparing a figure (SHF) that came out nearly as the same time as the movie to a figure (MF) that came out almost a year after the movie. Not only did it come out nearly a year later, it's main accessory, the spider legs, which looked the part, but for alot of people, the legs were so fragile that they broke. That's something important to talk about. So, comparing one figure that was most likely based on concept art to something that was made literally a year after alot of companies, not just SHF, they should have had the better product.

@Depression Police biased? What exactly would I be biased of? Pointing out facts? If you love either product, that's cool. I'm not telling anyone to buy one over the other.

@Depression Police time they came out, accessories they came with, paint and detail, = facts. Definition of bias: prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair. Not against or for anything, as mentioned in the prior posts.

Hey guys - really don't think it'll get any of us anywhere by arguing. At the end of the day this video was made more for entertainment purposes and to share my thoughts on each figure, sure it may have some inconsistencies and irregularities and i do have my reasons including or excluding certain aspects of the figure in the video and sometimes i may not be able to justify them all in one video but as i've mentioned in the video, it's purely based on my humble opinion, and i will respect your opinions as well and i'm happy to see them in the comments but all i ask in return is that you could be respectful to one another and respect my opinions as well. Anyway hope you can take the video for what it was intended to be, entertainment. Thanks and take care

@@kenohwee you literally stat in your video "we can agree to disagree". I stated my points, I guess that person tried to state something, nothing more. My point is, if you're going to do a verses video, every tool, every strength, and every weakness should be noted. Obviously you don't have to do that, it's your video, your opinion about the two products. Something I do think you should note that's very important; the date each product is released. It's a crazy game that both SHF and mayfex plays.

But I think SHFiguarts stole ideas from Mafex because now SHFiguarts has a alter ego face

For me i like mafex a lot more because of the sculpt, if you compare the spidey head with the hot toys version it looks similar. And the thong on the shf always bothers me, and the body proportion looks like a girl
