Like most things in Act 3, this is a side quest, but since there aren't many videos available for Iron Throne Solo in Honor mode, I thought this would make for a nice video.
Iron Throne:
It can be challenging to save every Gondian, Omeluum & Grand Duke Ravengard especially when playing Honor mode Solo as you only have one chance at this. I have five turns to save everyone, including myself, on the hardest difficulty. Fortunately, the game has a ton of gear that will help with this side quest by increasing your movement speed.
**In this case, flying is crucial. You can just use a potion of fly during your preparation if you're not a half-illithid.**

Yeah - a monk might do more damage but this is the most versatile of the game’s power-builds.

Indeed, while this is easier as a monk, due to the step of wind added they can use the elixir of cloud giant strength and get across the Iron Throne with ease. Any class can essentially solo the iron throne with the right movement gear and correct pathing. Sorcerer Warlock's versatility with Rogue is just insane though, can't get any more perfect than it already is 😂.

Yes! I've run the Iron Throne on all my playthroughs! While this is much easier on Monk, any class can do this if they switch out to movement speed gear and have a potion of fly. The real challenge is the pathing, but once you've done this before, there's no difference between Honor mode and Tactician. Just the fact you get 1 try on Honor 😆

Great Pathing in the Iron Throne, very efficient! On my run I did "Foundry Battle 1", saved all Gondians (they were Neutral/Yellow), and was able to chat to Lowa after the fight. However, when I went downstairs to do "Foundry Battle 2", the Gondians appeared to go hostile (red) when I stepped into range. Did you have to do anything in particular to ensure the Gondians in the Iron Foundry were friendly/Green? I eventually knocked one out and avoided damaging the rest, then left the area so I feel like I saved them.

Foundry 2 will be hostile if you fail to rescue the Gondians from the Iron Throne. Given that the Gondians' families are being held captive, they are virtually left with little alternative except to fight for the tyrant. In Foundry 2, the Gondians will battle for you if you can save their family from the Iron Throne. To make sure the Gondians are always on my side, I normally finish Iron Throne first, rescue all the Gondians, and then finish Foundry 1 and Foundry 2.

How do you get all those scrolls and potions of angelic reprieve

Act 1: Volo will come to your camp once you rescue him from the Goblin Camp. He is essentially the one from whom you will steal till the very end of Act 2. Volo has gold in stock and sells Scrolls that increase in value based on your level. Every time you fail a sleight-of-hand check, he just leaves and returns a minute later. You may continue stealing from Volo until you get the potions or scrolls you require. Their stocks will reset whenever you level up a character or take a partial rest. **Tip: Partial Rest doesn't require any resources, so you can take advantage of this game mechanic.** *Act 2: The bugbear Lann Tarv sells Angelic Reprieve them. The same concept applies.* **A little secret for you** Act 3: Angelic Reprieve is thought to be unattainable in Act 3, but Lucretius from the circus will routinely exchange them with you if you trade with her. Although "trade" is not in her chat dialogue, there is a "trade" option on the bottom right-hand side to exchange with Lucretious. Many times, people overlook this and believe that you can't get Angelic Reprieve in Act 3, but they're wrong. ;) Feel free to check out my Act 2 Full Solo Video where I demonstrate how I steal and get all of my potion scrolls including the gear I use etc. Here's the link: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hdCPepWF17PLgXk.html Hope this helps

I found the iron throne one of the more enjoyable parts of the game. At about 6 mins why could you not quicken a chain lightning/fireball/ice storm, etc. ? Has that changed recently?

I wished they put an achievement for saving all of the Gondians, this instance is so fun. I realized it's because I put all of my scrolls inside my pouch. It turns out that quickening, duplication, and distant spells don't work if the scrolls are inside the pouch. It could be a bug, but it started working when I took the scrolls out and into my inventory.

I don't have a video yet but I can list out a few things here that could help :). Initial skill priorities: Strength: 8 Dexterity: 16 (use +1) ntellegence: 8 Wisdom: 10 Charisma: 17 (use +2) Hag's Hair for another +1 on Charisma, and Mirror of Loss for another +3. Act 1: Warlock until level 6. Act 1.5: Subclass straight into sorcerer (Level 4 Sorcerer, Draconic); Warlock Level 2. Act 2: Levels 7 and 8, you can either put two more into Warlock or subclass Rogue for skill proficiency in persuasion and sleight of hand. Level 10, respec into Level 4 Sorcerer (Draconic), Level 2 Warlock, and Level 4 Rogue (Thief) for fast hands, quickened spells, and agonizing blasts. Another feat is ability improvement, or spell sniper. Act 3: Level 11, go for 5 Sorcerers, 2 Warlocks, and 4 Rogues, or you can put the additional level on Wizard for added versatility. Level 12, 6: Draconic Sorcerer (Fire or Lightning): "The Best Choices" 2 Warlock, 4 Rogue/Thief. *Note* Take Dual Feat at level 4 and onwards for versatility and to fully utilize weapon abilities such as Phalar Aluve, etc. Feats Dual Wielding and Spell Sniper. (Ability improvement is also good for flat damage.). Hope this helps :)
