This is now the second time Pete has on this truck it was sold to one of his friends two years ago but has since found its way back into Iron City Garage to be fixed up and saw it again! My Older Brother Bought this same year truck from Our neighbor, Herb, Sat for 25 years,1975 , I was 14 He got it running, Were driving down a real steep hill, I had my arm out the window leaning against the door, when it opened, I feel out rolling down the hill at 45 mph, That what I remember about that truck. LOL

I like this truck model. They are my favourite. The only reason I havent bought one is because I live in Europe and we never had them imported.

consider yourself lucky, there's a guy out here that's had a 54 ford Country Sedan sitting out for over a year, JUST the body shell, and he wants 8 grand! (jefferson county...you guys could literally come straight up 28 if your interested)

If you are going to try to start that old truck, you need a stronger battery and it needs to turn over faster

As I said in the video, I previously owned it so I knew it ran good. The intake manifold was just very dry. They require a lot of fuel to start up.

I have always thought they where a ugly Truck, To big and heavy, They look ok if painted nice, But leaving in a Patina Look is just to lazy to paint. I never thought people would think clear coating over rust looked good, Dumb.
