Week 16 of my Ironman Training Vlog for the 2024 Ironman Chattanooga Race this September (among many other races throughout the season).
This week we got back into some training after taking a week of recovery and dealing with sickness following Eagleman 70.3. We end this week making our way to Chattanooga Tennessee for the Waterfront Olympic Traithlon for some fun and familiarization to better prepare us for the full Ironman this September.
Week 16:
Monday: Easy TT bike 🚴🏽
Tuesday- Easy run, Pool swim 🏃🏻 🏊‍♂️
Wednesday- Swim Bike Run Fairport 🏊‍♂️ 🚴🏽 🏃🏻
Thursday- Easy run 🏃🏻
Friday- Chatty Lake OWS 🏊‍♂️
Saturday- Chatty IM Bike course, Check in 🚴🏽
Sunday- Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon 🏁

I race as an age group triathlete in the 35-39 division. My goals are to be competitive within the top of the field and to try to secure world championship qualifications, but at the very least I will be having all of the fun along the way.
