When the train attendant ran into Ironmouse I wondered if it was a glitch so I looked it up, and apparently there are anomalies that can kill you and make you restart the level. There are more on the level with the brown chairs then the blue ones though.

I've heard people say that 'personal injury' is a covert/more euphemistic way to say "someone got hit by the train" so that's what happened to Naoki and his sister. There are clues in the game. Like the sister being unable to wake up, them sitting in the 4th row, which can also be read as 'death'(shi). The sister saying she doesn't remember them bordering the train. and then there's one anomally where the seat she's in and the ones before her literally spell DEATH in English in red letters. Naoki also gets sadder and resinged as we go along. I think our character had a near death expirience at the same the time siblings die and got trapped between the worlds. Some of the stuff were echoes from the real world. Like the doctor and the cart-lady and the conductor. as well as the voice on the train saying that it stopped due to 'persoinal injury'.

So glad she actually finished the game. I've seen like 3 people get ending 1 and basically alt f4 out of the game instantly.
