Sanders was the fastest, Monk was the smoothest but my favorite was Gary Clark. I just loved the way went over the middle to make the ballsy catches and the layout catches. So underrated.

These 3 guys were the main reason why I became a die hard Redskins Fan, they can talk about all the triple threats now, but back in the mid 80s-early 90s, that was the original Triple Threat!

My all time favorite Wide Receiver is Gary Clark & all time favorite receiving corps is The Posse. & I am a New Orleans Saints fan. But I will forever have mad love for the Posse...1st trio to amass 1,000 yds each in a season in 1989.

I'm a redskins fan but they wasn't the first to have 3 1000 receivers. The Chargers did it with John Jefferson, Kellen Winslow and Charlie Joiner in 80.

garland piggott THE 1980-81 CHARGERS WERE THE FIRST TEAM TO HAVE 2 WIDE RECEIVERS & A TIGHT END TO ALL HAVE 1,000 YARDS RECEIVING IN THE SAME SEASON...THE 1989-90 REDSKINS WERE THE FIRST TEAM TO HAVE 3 WIDE RECEIVERS NO TIGHT END TO HAVE 1,000 YARDS RECEIVING IN THE SAME SEASON FOLLOWED BY THE 1995-96 RUN & SHOOT ATLANTA FALCONS OF TERRANCE MATHIS, BERT EMMANUEL, & ERIC METCALF THEN THEN THE 2004 INDIANAPOLIS COLTS WITH MARVIN HARRISON, REGGIE WAYNE, & BRANDON STOKELY WERE THE 3RD TEAM TO HAVE 3 WIDE RECEIVERS & NO TIGHT END AMASS 1,000 IN THE SAME SEASON BUT THE FIRST & STILL ONLY WR CORPS WHERE ALL 3 HAD 10 TOUCHDOWN RECEPTIONS IN THE SAME SEASON AS WELL.

I actually met Gary clark he taught my little brother how to play football in a camp ment for kids i was a die hard redskins fan ever since i was born but it's a shame i never heard of him before my bro met him man what a legend

I recorded that 2008 HOF and let me tell you, that was the longest standing ovation I've ever seen, Art should've been in back in 94 or 95, but still, better late than never on one of the greatest receivers of all time, got his jersey too!

Gary Clark was voted all-pro in 1986. He went to the pro bowl 4 times. 2 Super Bowl rings. 5 seasons with over 1000 yards and over 10k yards in his career. How is this man not in the HoF.

Before we the got the Panthers in NC, I grew up a Cowboys fan, and hated but also rrspected the posse/fun bunch. The first great trio of wideouts.#salute.

When our team was the "Redskins" we had the best nicknames for players. We had the Diesel & The Hogs to name a few. But the Skins wr's, had the most nicknames. We had The Posse & the Fun Bunch.

this really shows why Redskins fans are the best on earth. They genuinely love their team beyond records. Integrity means more to them than any other fan base. Which is why Art Monk is the most beloved Redskin of them all (though you could argue D. Green, Riggo or Slingin Sammy, but it's real close).

Sorry I'm a Brit but being 41 I was crazy about the Redskins in the 80's as a teenager and still am now, please forgive me if I'm wrong but weren't Art Monk Gary Clark and Ricky Sanders also known as the 3 Amigos?? My favorite player back then along with these three was the fastest man on 2 legs the legend that is Darrell Green....

It's a fucking joke that it took as long as it did for Monk to get into the HoF. I have no respect for the Hall or its selection process after that, even though I did go to the ceremony to see Art and Darrell inducted on the same night. That was cool.

Joe Gibbs coached team ruled,winning 3 Superbowl titles and Jay gruden will never come close to doing anything and that sorry QB we got named Kirk cousins!!!!!So if Daniel Snyder continues give up all his talent and keep scrubs on his team paying them alot of money,he will continue to watch other ball clubs take all the world titles.There's only one Posse,Monk Clark and Sanders,and that's all folks lmboooo !!!!!When this ball clubs gave away RG3 and Alfred Morris ,the skins buried there Superbowl chances,and the skills will be lucky to have a winning record‼‼
